Starfield looks a bit too big. Better prepare myself for a hundred hours of mindless mining and generic side quests. The other hundred hours will be the story and character bits, I'm guessing.
Yeah, I didn't particularly care for the sewer segment either. Although, once I found the elevator that linked back to the police station, I kind of liked it a little bit better. Once they were connected it made me feel better.
I didn't play anything this weekend. It was over 30°C and I was out sailing.
In other news, the Switch Lite broke down. I can't get it to do anything other than display the charging symbol now and then, or when I do a hard shut down, get it to flash the Nintendo logo for half a second every 10th time I try it. I fear we'll need to send it in for repairs. Worst of all, the youngest's save file for TotK didn't properly backup in the cloud so he now lost all his progress. Granted, he didn't manage to get off the opening island yet, but to him it's a great loss of time and achievement.
Played the Final Fantasy XVI demo and am very pleased with it. Played it in performance mode and the game looks very good and gameplay feels nice and smooth. They sure went dark in this game. Never did watch any Game of Thrones but very much imagine that it was quite like this. Pretty liberal with the word “Fuck”.
Anyway I have the Deluxe version preordered and am looking forward to continuing from where I left off in the demo.
Stranger of Paradise also got the M rating if we're going to count the side games.
Speaking of which, did anyone ever play stranger of paradise? I know it captured a lot of people's interests, but the universal opinion seem to be, "let's try it when it's at hobo pricing levels."

Think originally was a PSP game and they put out HD versions for the PS4 and Xbox One. Played some of it myself and think it some blood in it but FFXVI seems to take it a notch or two beyond that.
The new Star Wars game looks amazing! Graphically next gen, looks like some features from different Ubi games, the little creature is like your "hack" from watch dogs, he could do all kinds of things. There is the multi target instant kill like splinter cell. But that SW DNA is everywhere, going into a base, escaping on a speeder, running into a cantina, escaping with a wanted level on a spaceship and going into space being chased by Ties, wow. That is a dream SW game. Hope it all comes together well.
Avatar also looks next gen, better than anything. Flight conbat is impressive, Zelda like skydiving. But it's clearly Far Cry with an avatar skin.

I'm about to finish the sewer in Leon B. Such a pity RE2 continues after the police station.
But all REs seem to have a great main setting, then end on comparatively crappy diversions.
