My grandmother passed today, 97, peaceful at home. It's been a rough few weeks, obviously extremely sad day but she can be at peace now. Now I need to figure what to do with myself and really start my life, if been caring for others for so many years now, kind of scary. Thank you guys for always being around, even when I'm not posting I'm reading what's being said. I'll sure I'll be joining in on the our democracy is doomed party come Tuesday lol.

I hope you're able to focus on yourself for a while now. It sounds like you've earned it. You've got plenty of time to figure out your next steps, but I do want to share with you the one thing I've told my kids over and over. This is a pretty amazing country, too amazing to spend it in Florida for your entire life.
Earlier this week my wife and I found ourselves in a big shopping mall for the first time in maybe 5 years. There's this store where they sell cheap books and DVD's. They have a pittifully small gaming section right inbetween their DVD's. I was checking out their Switch games. Bottom row had the Lego Harry Potter game, above came some nickelodeon games, then Paw Patrol. And one row above, on the top row: Big Juicy Titties. I'm sure there's still a market for porn on DVD, but maybe they should think about placing those at least above the DVD's and not directly above what is clearly aimed at their youngest shoppers.

I hope she had a full life without regrets. When somebody passes at such a high age it's never a shock, but losing someone dear to you is always sad.
