With further use, I'm considering it, too...and the other faceplates; the latter is probably a bigger priority, as the nose hole is way too big for me.
Sim racing causes a little motion sickness on initial acceleration and steep inclines and declines, but seems pretty managable. Makes corner entry so much easier--but it also really shows off how unrealistic ditches and things like that are lol. You can drop two wheels into a half a metre ditch, and the car is barely lopsided and easily powers out of it, for instance.
Superhot is amazing. Can't imagine playing something like this tethered tbh.

Yeah, same here and my nose IS about the size of a PS5.
Haven't tried Superhot. How is the controller tracking? Can you spread your arms 180° to shoot stuff extra badass?

Controller tracking is great; to me with my randomly trembling hands, it'd be nice if the actual controllers were a bit heavier, though, as it'd make aiming a little easier.
It has a demo, so go check it out! As in arms crossed, or hands behind your back? The former yes, the latter no unless you can also turn your head 180 degrees.
So GameStop has a new bundle for the Switch. By a regular old switch, and get a four-piece Mario glassware set...
I can't say I'm interested in that, but it does make me miss the days when McDonald's would do those collectors glasses. I had a couple of them from Return of the Jedi. Those were cool.
Yeah those Return of the Jedi glasses were cool. I was watching The Great Outdoors recently and they had that set. I also remember McDonslds had some cool Batman Returns cups. Remember when fast food places would release storybooks from movies with a record?
There's a demo?! I will pass on the game, warriors was fun but nothing I need more of. And BOTW is not my favorite Zelda era.
try the demo. I never played the OG Hyrule Warriors but the video reviews says it something more and different than the usual Warriors games. Much more cohesive and Nintendo wrote and did all the story and cutscene. Very much feels like it's part of BOTW as a whole and much better than I expected.
Very briefly tried out some games. A skiing game and a sailing game. Sailing was pretty cool, although there was very little in the form of feedback. It was only the first tutorial of course, so perhaps that changes later on. The skiing was a bit much for a first go with VR gaming I think. I could feel my stomach rising with every undulation of the piste. Still cool though.
I'm going to order 'lense protectors' to prevent my glasses from making contact with the lenses, thus potentially scratching both. Of course they're sold out everywhere so I'll just have to keep living dangerous like I'm doing now.
Also Foolz, get sidequest. There's a bunch of free games on there to try out. Both the ones I've tried so far have been downloaded through sidequest.
I have to use it to prevent my luscious eyelashes from constantly rubbing against the lenses lol. (It also improves the sweet spot for me as well.)
Already got sidequest! Looking to get OG Half-Life etc. working with it, though based on Pavlov's Shack, FPS in VR might be a bit much for me, at least while getting acclimatised...
Foolz, I enjoyed the Savage Planet discussion. I guess I see similarities to Prime because of the exploration aspect, not really because of it being a Metroidvania (which it is not). It the color palette is certainly over saturated.
no tank. She wasn't wearing the helmet either. But she was gothed out and wearing skeletal leg yoga pants, so that was cool.
We ran into her at this antique store that some friends of ours run, that specialize in kind of weird curiosities. Lots of taxidermy stuff, turn of the century medical equipment, bones, creepy clown shit, things of that nature.
Anyway, there's not really much of a story. She had a face mask on, but she still sticks out like a sore thumb. I just gave her a polite hello nod, but I ended up talking to her boyfriend for about 5 minutes who might also be a wrestler, but I'm not sure.

That's definitely fair. Also the scanning and feeling of the jumps.
Thanks again for the recommendation (thanks Leo, too) as I'd never have picked it up if not for that!

Well that’s pretty cool nonetheless. The store also sounds like a very interesting place as well.
I'll give it a try. I have been placing the band above my ears, but find that the band starts slipping up the back of my head, requiring me to pull it down again every minute or so.
My IPD is bigger than your IPD!

Oh that is pretty cool. I want details.
Was she driving her tank?
The one that stands out to me is the storybook set for the movie Gremlins.

Are you using the glasses spacer in the meantime?

Supreme, this strap technique has made a huge difference for me. Try it and see if it helps.
