So I've been playing Bloodstained this weekend. Good solid Metroidvania, but this is one of the most forgettable main characters ever. I can't remember her name no matter how much I try.

Oh and the hurricane decided there's too much COVID-19 here and pretty much skipped Florida. It's Travo's problem now.

Nah, I'm isolated in a cozy cabin in Tennessee.  My sister invited us to stay there.

I started Paper Mario Origami King.  I wasn't feeling it at first but now it's really opened up and is a lot of fun.

It’s the same as last weekend for me. Been playing Animal Crossing, Dragon Quest XI, and Gears 5 multiplayer again this weekend.

I finished the last of the Metro Exodus DLC and started the Last Light DLC, also finished Project Warlock, and I'm probably about halfway or 2/3s through Carrion.

The RE games are all on sale on Switch for low, low prices. Re4, 5 and 6 are Β£11.99 here each. Remake and 0 even cheaper. For the next 5 days apparently. I bought RE6 as playing the demo over the weekend, it looks great even on a 4ktv (with sharpness turned to max on the TV). And having these games on a portable I can play in bed will be awesome. Also might try with the nephew.

Played RE Umbrella Chronicles yesterday. Time has not been kind, looks butt ugly. Played Luigi's Mansion 3 with the nephew, that's a great Co op game to play with a kid. He was Gooigi who is essentially invincible and more importantly I can drag his ass into any room I want whenever I want. He can also let Gooigi go into my backpack whenever he needs a snack or piss. He also tried Bully on wii, which visually wasn't too bad, I thought it would be far worse. Enjoyed using the motion controllers to punch various people. Rather than doing the objectives punched random people and then ran away, as many people chased and shouted at him whilst he laughed.

Activated the motion controls in re6. I haven't tinkered with the settings that much (is there anything other than sensitivity anyway?) and they are serviceable but feels a touch sluggish which is a surprise as they are great in Revelations 2.

I was mistaken if you play the game the way it tells you to the detaching the joy-con the aiming is far more responsive you're playing wii style essentially. What's wedding me out are the controls for Leon I've been playing Chris portion on the demo and half the moves I used there I can't seem to use as Leon, like diving about? Or ducking behind walls etc.

I've been listening to the latest GUpodcast.  Foolz, get yourself checked, because that dry cough definitely has that covid ring to it.

Furthermore, on the podcast:

  • I'll be sure to sit widelegged while taking a crap next time I visit an airport.
  • the redhead in Brute Force had disappointingly small mamaries by videogame standards
  • I googled Herman Kahn, guy's been dead for 37 years.  Bit late for an eulogy...

That's just asthma. For whatever reason my asthma has never been wheezy, and is a dry cough. There had also been a large chemical fire a day or two before we recorded...

But far more interesting a character.

Here are his predictions for 2020, he's practically a prophet:

  1. Multiple applications of lasers.
  2. Extreme high-strength structural materials.
  3. New or improved superperformance fabrics.
  4. New or improved materials for equipment and appliances.
  5. New airborne vehicles (ground-effect vehicles, giant or supersonic jets, VTOL, STOL).
  6. Extensive commercial applications of shaped-charge explosives.
  7. More reliable and longer-range weather forecasting.
  8. Extensive and/or intensive expansion of tropical agriculture and forestry.
  9. New sources of power for fixed installations.
  10. New sources of power for ground transportation."

Oh please, those are of near Nostradamuslike ambiguity.

I was being facetious. Indeed, this is worse than Nostadamus, who was at least entertaining. This bellend is literally just saying "technology will improve".

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Get well soon. You need one of those motorized stair chairs.
