Game Under Podcast Episode 127
Sludge Life, Beat Cop, Death and Taxes, Metro Exodus and the new season of Sky: Children of Light.gameunder.net editorial impressions news aspro
So, I've been playing Kingdom Hearts 3. Definitely my least favorite of the series. It's not bad per say, but the story and the writing are pretty terrible. I'm going to keep at it to see how this dumpster fire of a story ends, but I can say what some assurance that I will never be revisiting this game.
I finished Minecraft Dungeons, Metal Slug X (did I mention this before?), Sludge Life (and crypt creeper lol), as well as the Backbone prologue. I also started Project Warlock, the System Shock remake demo (the combat is even worse than the original), Lord of Seafood and have nearly finished The Caspian on Metro Exodus.
Robio has rekindled my desire to play some Mega Man. Starting of with the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1. Just finished the first game and thank god for save states and the rewind feature. Of course I didn’t need either and totally aced the game first try, no damage, and mega buster only. Scout’s honour.

I don't think I can argue with that. Mega Man 3 probably got closer than any others in terms of matching 2, But that's really the only other one that belongs in the conversation when you talk about the NES titles.

Yeah for sure. Mega Man 3 was very good indeed and second best. They just really took a dive after that and felt very uninspired.
Been playing Dark Souls of the Switch. It is very...how do i sat it...yanky. Lock on is attocious, the camera sometimes straight up killes you, the hard but fair what people say is a straight up lie. I know people always say get gut, but From software should get gut too. Some of the shit is straight yanky.
Still enjoying it a lot though. Level design is awesome. Combat is awesome when it is fair. Also atmosphere is like awesome and depressing.

Does anyone know if this is true for the other versions as well, or did the port kind of kill it?
Could be the port, but DS1 and 2 and Bloodborne all felt janky with a shitty camera to me at first until I figured out what I was doing. The rhythm and timing is not really comparable to any other game (with its own differences from game to game), so it really just takes getting used to.
You know what was definitely cheap, though? Ancient Dragon.
Yeah, the Souls games always felt kind janky to me as well. The big draw of these games for me are the world design, atmosphere, lore, and boss designs.

No from reading people's impression the PS3 and 360 version are worse. Like Blight town ran fine on the Swtch, but the 360/PS3 version it was a slide show. I know there are some sound effects and fire effect that are not as good on the Switch, because it was not a perfect port. Also B is confirm and A is unconfirm on the Switch. And you cannot change it. Why? Fuck you! That's why
I've been playing and finished Uncharted 3. I've also played a ton of Uncharted 4 multiplayer.
Mainly been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons but also played some Tetris 99 and Scott Pilgrim vs the World on the 360.

For the kickass Xenoblade Chronicles skin, amirite?
But of course.
Now THAT is an adorable avatar.

Mega Man 2 is still the best of the regular Mega Man series. Kick ass music and cool bosses.

Yep still the king. One of the all time greats.
