Did a bit of cleanup of side missions and stuff in Batman: Arkham City and started playing Ace Combat this weekend myself.

Still Forza Horizon 4, in which you can tandem drift combivans.

I finished Strider and dabbled a bit more in Langrisser.  I completed one of the stories but I've once again hit the wall where you have to pay to progress or literally spend the day grinding make incremental progress. I probably won't be playing it too much longer, though it's a shame because it really is a good game. Bastard gatcha game dev's.

So now it's either time to return to Iceborne or maybe give Dragon Quest 6 one last try.

Sadly I can't take credit for that.

Sonic Spinball (Genesis) lacks polish but it's still a very fun game.

Gave the latest GU podcast a listen.  Top moment was when Foolz was going full on condecending in pointing out that reading half a book a day is the same as reading a book every two days, but slipped up and said it's the same as reading 2 books a day.  Also nice how that  completely passed Aspro by.

The bits about games were good too.  Well done.

Edit: I'm also being a bit of a sour grape that Phil mentionned some listener by the name of AC Pro, who appears to be some Anglophile shmuck, instead of yours truely.  Thank you for nothing, Phil Fag.

Doom eternal previews look so amazing. Sounds like they are going to improve the combat and bits between it. Could be a GOTY candidate.

Kind of wish I had a PS4 Pro right now. The loading times in Iceborne are fucking ridiculous. I haven't experienced anything like this this generation. Multiple times now I've waited over a minute something to load. Probably pushing 90 seconds.

I've owned a launch PS4 and now a PS4 Pro; any load time differences were not noticable to me with their stock HDD. Pro's benefit is framerate, resolution and some extra graphical bells and whistles.

Was that case, what the hell is wrong with you Capcom? How do you make a game like this?

I’ve heard that if you replace the HDD with a solid state HDD will lower the load times quite a bit.
