Forza Horizon 4 has been preventing me from continuing 11-11: Memories Retold and playing a bit more of Vergil in DMC3.
Playing Jedi Fallen Order and it gets better and better every hour. Respawns creativity with level design on full display. Combat is souls lite, but made up for in the metroid like design.
I have similar issues with a lot of games these days. Button layouts often seem counter intuitive. You'd think that by now there'd be some consensus on what makes sense and what doesn't.
I haven't played much of anything over the weekend. I started Luigi's Mansion 3 and played a few races in Asphalt 9, but that's about it. As for my first impressions of LM3: it needs more dust particles. The place look squeeky clean.

If all games allowed you to re-assign buttons this wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately if there is a consensus, it's increasingly that you shouldn't be able to re-assign buttons.

Today was the day they were supposed to go into full censorship mode.
Starting early next year, we have insane huge games coming within weeks of each other, back to back to back.
That's all 1st half 2020 & just the bigger games, not even counting smaller quality releases. Good lord, & I'm supposed to get a PS5 in October? Oooof.
Gotta say though it looks like it could be the best gaming year in a long time if everything delivers. I'm not sold on getting a PS5 right away....but I will be if they have a huge exclusive day 1. Otherwise I'll probably wait for one.

For once YouTube being accused of censorship is sort of accurate. Though even so, the censorship involved is actually the US government censoring advertising on the internet directed at children.
I've seen many people get banned by YT whom they had no reason to ban over the years. They just make shit up half the time. This NEW thing that you're talking about is one more excuse they can use. I've already seen people say they marked their videos as not child friendly, only to have some shmuck from YT manually review the video & change it to "for kids" when it's not, then strike the video for language or whatever. Especially if it's videogame related. There's all kinds of shady crap that they do, from throttling channels to hyping up fake personalities who somehow get a million subscribers overnight.
You're in Australia right? I have no idea how things go down there in terms of any of this kind of stuff. I really don't know much at all about the way they deal with US based online corporations or anything of the sort. In fact, all I know is I've heard the Aussie gov kisses China's ass (is this true?) & they used to censor the shit of of games. And for some reason, Aussie women are 10 times hotter than British women (maybe the weather). Also, Crocodile Dundee was a childhood favorite of mine.
All I know about Australian video game nonsense is the name "Michael Atkinson," the man who single-handedly kept an 18+ rating away from everyone forever and he's been out of political power for years. But his legacy in jerking around people lives on,

Yeah, YouTube definitely sucks, but I don't understand why they shouldn't be allowed control of the content on their website. It would literally be censorship if they weren't.
Don't get me wrong, here, I endorse criticising YouTube on this point (they really do suck), but I just don't get how people see this as censorship.

I managed to wath the Nintendo Direct late last night, and it was mostly meh. There was this one game that was supposed to look like stained glass in motion, but it was more like a badly drawn cartoon. I imagined the whole thing looking as if light would be shining through the stained glass, colours blending all over. Instead it's all just very flat. Stained glass never looks like that. Either the sun shines through and the whole thing radiates, or it's dark on the other side and the whole thing just looks black.
Axiom Verge 2 was announced, which sounds like a dumb thing to do if your last game was Axiom Verge.
Dauntless, the F2P MonHun light released on Switch, might check that out one day
Sports story got announced, the sequel to Golf story. It lets you score a goal on a tennis field holdig a baseball bat on a ball that was served by someone playing golf, so that could become a thing.
