That's a lot of work compared to just turning on my N64! But I respect that you are so interested in game history that you play as many as you do. How do you have the time?
Ive been editing and working on all the stuff you have to do to upload and package a podcast -- I just realized I've been listening to 50 Cent's In Da Club on loop for about 70 minutes
It's been 16 years already!
Go, go, go, go go, go, go, shawty
It's your birthday
We gon' party like it's yo birthday
We gon' sip Bacardi like it's your birthday
And you know we don't give a fuck
It's not your birthday!
You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I'm into having sex, I ain't into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

When I pull out up front, you see the Benz on dubs
Has anyone here played either Little Nightmares or Unruly Heroes? They're both high on my list to play one day. The first is a Tim burtonesque horror puzzle platformer, while the second is a beautifully animated side scrolling beatemup by some of the talent that made the new Rayman games and built in the same engine.
It's really not though. You just download the emulator, select the Xbox pad as your input device, tweak a few settings and that's it. Then all you have to do is make sure the game files are stored in the emulator folder & it finds them and boots them instantly. The main advantages are that you get dual stick controls that work surprisingly well & totally erases that disadvantage the N64 always had for shooters and camera systems. And also you gain the ability to quick save and quick load whenever you want, bypassing the checkpoint system most games had.
I really don't play that many old games. Every once in a while I'll play something like this. 95% of the time I'm playing on PS4, bits & pieces of a million different things. I only started messing with Turok 3 because I had never played it & that Digital Foundry Turok video got me inspired to check it out.
Yeah, I played the stage. At first it was frustrating because I didn't know what triggered the killer wail and it can turn the tide of every single match. After I 'got it' it was still fustrating to see that more often than not, my teammates didn't have a clue and we'd still lose. The stage is too much a one trick pony to my liking.

Curse you, deciples of Chaos!
Order predictably lost the Splatocalips. But hey, at least 'our' Marina is still clearly the hottest one. 👍🏻
So this weekend, I played a ton of Uncharted 4 multiplayer and..and .....well, that’s it.
Sorry you're sick, robio. I hope you feel better soon.
Played Monster Hunter World, Gears of War 4 multiplayer, and some Final Fantasy IX this weekend.
