Anyone want to play some Uncharted 4 multiplayer?
I played some Monster Hunter World and Final Fantasy IX this weekend.
That censorship, moral outrage article, was not only full of moral outrage, but in response to the Cuphead dimwit questioning whether CoD's new campaign should be released or not, suggested he get the fuck out of journalism. Neither of these things constitute a call for censorship, but in terms of suggesting certain sentiments shouldn't be stated, the latter is much more emphatic lol. Plus, that Fox news false equivalency was a bit cringey. Subjective commentary by journalists, isn't the same thing as journalists making an objective error, just because their subjective commentary is moral.
So, other than the nostalgia, I don't really get its point. But I can sympathise with that part of it; whenever I read games writing these days, for instance this article, I feel like I need to bathe. Other than that, seems like a classic case of projection. (Maybe this is me projecting, too, as I'm sure there's a few people out there who have needed a shower after reading my Metal Gear Sadism stuff; to masturbate, obviously, not to cleanse themselves, although a good wank is surely cleansing for the soul).
And for the record, apart from being a very amoral person, I only tell people to shut up if they're annoying me in person. So, good luck to her; this moral outrage and faux free speech nonsense seems like a pretty lucrative gig. I hope she does as well as the people she's companioning about.
that said, I did skim it, so that means it was interesting enough. (y)
I've been playing Bravely Second: End Layer. I've been attempting the final boss battle. These games are known for breaking the 4th wall and this game in particular did it once already, in such an obscure way that I had to resort to tips from the internet to actually advance. So when I said I was attempting it, it wasn't because the actual battle was particularly hard, but because I couldn't figure out how to un-break the 4th wall. At some point the final boss discloses to your party that some identity is forcing them to fight again and again for their amusement and from their own comfort and safety. After this the boss adresses you directly and vows to show you that he is in full control, also over your actions. After which the game appears to crash and sends you back to the 3DS menu, shutting off the game without saving. I fought the same battle 3 times, trying everything I could to change the course of the fight, but I always ended up in the same place. Turning to the internet again, it appears that the 4th wall was broken to such a level that, why yes, it's an actual bug. I updated, no avail. I tried completing the game on my son's 2DS, no luck. In the end I had to change the system language to English before the bug would let me continue.
Suffice to say that the actual 4th wall breaking was much lamer than this. I came close to calling it a day and just giving up. A very ill timed bug if you ask me, just when one would expect the game to pull off something similar to throw you off, but then acually being a real bug.
I finished Yakuza 4, and then played Tacoma. Which I also finished. One of the lighting effects didn't work with my graphics card, resulting in a much better aesthetic than they intended, but which fit the glitchy AR thing they were doing.

I bought and have been playing Tetris Effect PS4 this weekend. Trippy game . . . especially while mildly intoxicated. The game supports PSVR; I kinda wish I had one to try it out on.

That would make a sweet Wii remote case.
Personally I'd consider getting one, IF it's easy to swap between devices. I do most of my switch gaming in portable mode anyway, but I wouldn't want to give up on docked play completely. As for the lack of detachable joycon, I'm all for it seeing as 3 of my 4 joycon are already malfunctioning.
I'd prefer if they just stopped throttling performance when in portable mode. We need higher resolutions, rather than sinking sub HD
I’d definitely get a Switch Pro.
At first I was not interested in getting a Switch Mini but I must say that I’m kind of contemplating on it a bit more. It would depend on the design and price of it. Having a proper d-pad would certainly be a plus for me.
True. I could that but at my age I see no reason to start being sensible now.
Yeah um started MHW on Sunday but haven’t touched it again. I went back down the Uncharted MP rabbit (sink) hole.
