So would anyone here consider a Switch Mini, should the rumours be true and it actually exists?

Personally I'd consider getting one, IF it's easy to swap between devices. I do most of my switch gaming in portable mode anyway, but I wouldn't want to give up on docked play completely. As for the lack of detachable joycon, I'm all for it seeing as 3 of my 4 joycon are already malfunctioning.

I'm happy with the current format, I play mostly off-TV, but having the TV option is handy enough.

Hamster, the motion control videos have put me off starting Wolfenstein 2 when I realised the PS4 version has no gyro controls. FFS. Sad

Hey did anyone play Vampyr? I remember being pretty excited about that game prior to its release, and then I never really heard anything about again. And most of the reviews are right around that 7 to 7.5 limbo which could mean anything from a good game with the couple flaws to absolutely crap.

Sad Yeah, the only PS4 game I own that supports gyro controls is Gran Turismo Sport for steering.

Tried it on gamepass for like 2 hours, interesting premise but combat is pretty boring and I didn’t care for the story so far. But you do get parts of a city to explore, not open world but big areas to run around. Every NPC has a story and you can choose to just eat them or help and that will change some of the story they say.

Nah, money is a little tight.  I know a ten year old who would love it though.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's an old school slow paced adventure game, much more about story, characters, and figuring out the best way to go about a situation, than it is combat. That said, you do get some cool abilities as the game goes on. The atmosphere and ambient soundtrack are both stellar. It really feels like early 1800's London. Or I think it was 1800's. A long time ago, either way.

Sounds like it nails the part I'm interested in (setting).

I think the problem is there's a cat in your computer.

So is that a surface, or the chinese brand that looks exactly like it?  I know we've talked about them before, can't remember which one you ended up getting?

A common problem.  They freeze up your computer because they scare off the computermouse.

I started my first 'free' Game Pass game on Xbone yesterday.  Steamworld Dig2 !  I'm in dire need for some short games after completeing Bravely Default.  I'm not feeling it so far, but I'll stick with it some more.  Also downloaded Banjo-Tooie (only ever played the first) and Viva Piniata.  Also eager to play Mutant Year Zero.

You say “free”.  What does it cost you to do it?

Technically it cost me €120 for 2 years, as there's currently an offer that allows you to convert Xbox Live membership to Game Pass Ultimate (XBL+ game pass on PC and Xbox) one time only and for a maximum of 3 years.  But I also was gifted a years worth of XBL for my birthday last year which I hadn't started yet, so I ended up paying only €60 myself, where the actual worth of the service for 2 years is well over €300.

So no, it's not actually free, but it's the first time I've downloaded a game through some sort of Netflix like service, and it certainly felt like it was a free game.

I know what you mean.  The PSN monthly games are awesome and though technically not free, they are pretty dirt cheap.  It’s a great service for the number of games alone.
