The camera was completely manual so it's really your own fault if you don't position it correctly however the shadowing of the character wasn't good enough so you couldn't really tell depth as well as you should be able to. Then the game and gave you this huge crutch the backpack and then all of a sudden after using this device they suddenly take it away from you and you end up dying a lot. The big problem was Wind Waker and mario sunshine were rushed, at the end of sunshine you had the blue coinquest so was just padding near the end.

I must say that hearing the rumour that Resident Evil 8 will be from a third person perspective makes me happy. While I did enjoy RE7 I do very much prefer to have my RE in a third person perspective.

So this is interesting about the MCC version of Halo 1...I didn't even know until I saw this. That kind of pisses me off. LOL

Gearbox butchered the og game, but MS used that version in the MCC collection just because it already had the online infastructure built in. The differences are pretty crazy. I always thought something was off a bit, but I chalked it up to the game being old. Hopefully they fix it in the new version, or at the very least the PC modders can fix it.

Who said anything about RE4?

All I'm saying is, they could have easily went from RE4 to RE2make (or a game just like it) that would have felt like a much more proper evolution of the series, back in like 2008 or whenever RE5 came out. Sure the graphics wouldn't have been as nice, whatever. The game could have otherwise been basically the same. Again I do like pretty much all the games to an extent, but just in terms of RE being RE, that would have been the preferrable path.

In terms of sales, you could argue a box of rocks would have sold like gangbusters after the hype RE4 created. Although there was definitely the element of the late 00's multiplayer coop craze that RE5 & RE6 had that I'm sure captured a new crowd who wouldn't otherwise care about RE.

RE5 didn't just exploit the co-op craze, but was one of the best co-op games ever. We still got RE2make, so I'm glad things worked out as they did.

Hey, I just finished Resistance 3. You were right; it's better than the first two.

Still thought the visuals were kind of blurry and crappy and the story is shit, but the controls and gameplay was tight. Still isn't a top tier FPS though IMO.

Interesting that they set it up for another sequel, but I don't recall them ever talking about making one. Probably for the best at this point.

Journey is releasing on PC next week.  Having never owned a Playstation 3 I might check this out on PC.  It seemed a novel game and I've always been a bit curious of it.  I supose that playing it on PC would be preferable to playing it now on PS3 also, as I don't know how easy you could still find a companion online to play along with.

Journey? Why not save your money and use it for something better, like having a hot poker shoved up your ass? Seriously, no one needs to play that game.

I'm sorry, but having a hot poker shoved up my ass is a very niche fetish.  Being so specific, the costs for such pleasure would far exceed that of buying the rights to a digital copy of a 7 year old indy game.

If both were available within a similar pricerange, I could understand how one would advocate in favor of the titilating pleasures of the rectum.  Seeing as we sadly do not live in such a just world, I fear I will have to settle for the more mass media substitute of playing through Journey.

I would get The Unfinished Swan or What Remains of Edith Finch before Journey.  They are not multiplayer but they have more gameplay and better stories.

He's insane. The stories I've heard about this guy over the years lead me to believe he's one of those guys who never really grew up & would annoy you to the point of physical harm.

I give him credit for porting Half Life to Dreamcast then PS2, and....err....the Halo port to PC. And Borderlands was great. But he's a douche of a person.
