I didn't even read the article...just agree with the headline. Why do you bring up sales Vader? Sales mean nothing in terms of quality. I can name a million different times something got worse while at the same time getting more popular than ever. I think you agree that RE2make is a much better game than RE5 or 6.

EDIT: Or Revelations. Or Revelations 2. Or any other RE game they've released since RE4.

Cause the franchise wouldn’t be around without sales. RE4 allowed the series to stay popular and allowed it to evolve into what we have now.

Hey, on a slightly random note, was Revelations 2 any good? I enjoyed the first one, but the second one completely slipped by me.

Well you are the definitive expert on the subject. I'm going to trade in World of Final Fantasy today. It's neat nostalgia, but not very fun and somehow I lost about 30 minutes of gameplay. That's enough to make me toss this game aside. I was thinking RE7 or Revelations 2. Guess we'll see what's in stock.

This weekend I played mostly Monster Hunter World with some Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and a sprinkle of Forza Motorsport 7.

It is better than the first, and pretty enjoyable. But still feels like B tier material.

Witcher 3 complete edition seems to be switch bound. Can it even run on it?

That's probably because it is B tier.

I've been dancing with the fiery duo in Monster Hunter World and have been exploring giant infested ruins in Bravely Default: End Layer.

I've been replaying Super Mario Sunshine.

Remember that Super Mario Sunshine remaster rumored for Switch a couple years back? E3 2019! *holds breath*

Slowly not getting my ass handed to me quite so much in Monster Hunter. Spent most of the weekend feeling sick and didn't get as much game time as much as I wanted, but still got a few good hunts in.

kinda annoying how Zelda gets all the remake love and nothing for Mario. I'd love a remake or Remaster of 64, sunshine and both Galaxies. Actually SMW too. Even the 3Ds game on switch.

I never did play Super Mario Sunshine but am curious as to how it actually is. It seems to be the least favourite or among the least favourite of the Super Mario games.

I personally loved it. The FLUDD allowed for a lot of play, mucking about with the goop and the water. I feel that it was held back by it's lack of polish in certain stages. Something you could hardly imagine in a mainline Nintendo title.

The camera was troublesome at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly. FLUDD is awesome.

It’s a great game, however, Mario’s worst enemy is the camera.  Still a hell of a game.

Who said anything about RE4?

All I'm saying is, they could have easily went from RE4 to RE2make (or a game just like it) that would have felt like a much more proper evolution of the series, back in like 2008 or whenever RE5 came out. Sure the graphics wouldn't have been as nice, whatever. The game could have otherwise been basically the same. Again I do like pretty much all the games to an extent, but just in terms of RE being RE, that would have been the preferrable path.

In terms of sales, you could argue a box of rocks would have sold like gangbusters after the hype RE4 created. Although there was definitely the element of the late 00's multiplayer coop craze that RE5 & RE6 had that I'm sure captured a new crowd who wouldn't otherwise care about RE.

I haven't played Sunshine since the Gamecube days. I wonder how I'd like it now? But I loved it back in the day. The camera did suck at times though.
