And at the urging of my son I gave Fortnite another shot. For the life of me I just suck at that game. Balancing combat and building is just not natural at all. I made it down to the top 3 into the Battle Royal games, but that was more due to keeping a very low profile rather than being any good at fighting.
I’m not good at it either. Thought I’d give it an honest shot since 60% of all school kids are in to it.
I haven’t really been playing much of anything for the past week or so. Gave Crackdown a spin for about half an hour today. I had already played through it back when it came out but just had an urge to revisit it for a bit.
I finally beat my genetically superior twin brother.
Holy shit. I just heard that Stan Lee passed away. Very sad day.
R.I.P. Stan Lee.
Just saw the headline. 95 years old. So sad.😢

Honestly I'm kind of happy to see him pass. Stan had been in very poor health over the past couple years, and there was actually kind of a joke around the convention scene that he had diead years ago and they were just wheeling out his corpse for photo ops. He wasn't even able to sign autographs anymore. All he could do was sit there and have people stand with him. Not to mention he had those wierd issues with elder abuse with an assistant or family member that popped up last year. Anyway, the dude had a pretty amazing life, helped revolutionize the world of comics, created characters that will live on for many more years, and throughout it all was a pretty cool guy. Excelsior!
Out of all his accomplishments, I think one of my favorite things that Stan Lee ever did was narrate “ Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.” He had such a voice.
