A sumptuous, generous and absolutely gorgeous RPG that isn't quite the measure of Dragon Quest's illustrious past.

fantastic role-playing game that strikes an almost perfect balance between dense, absorbing storytelling, and allowing you the freedom to shape the adventure as you wish.

Good point.
The messenger is getting excellent reviews. It's basically a Ninja Gaiden clone but reviews says it does loads of new stuff and it's incredible.
Doesn’t Spider-Man come out soon?
September 7th
Jesus fucking Christ....Capcom are rereleasing Onimusha 1 a week before Resident Evil 2?! I just prematurely ejaculated!!
Not the smartest release time though...a month later after people have had their fill of RE2 and KH3 and maybe Anthem if Bioware can pull it together, would be a better idea.
PushSquare claim Omimusha will have a physical release but only in the USA. That's surprising because we usually get screwed on physical over here these days on smaller releases. I've had to get a few European copies of PS4 games.
EDIT: Only PS4 and Xbox are getting the physical copy.
Just in case it hasn’t been posted here yet: Into the Breach, the next game from the makers of FTL, one of the most addicting games of all time (ask Rags, if you can), was released for the Switch TODAY! SURPRISE! 😮
Perfect, for a Pigdog.
Woo hoo! I love the Onimusha games so it’s great to see at least the first one coming out again for the new systems.
Today was the end of Amazon's 20% off preorders deal, and what do you know; Spiderman is back available for preorder!
In true Capcom fashion, they will nickle and dime us for one game at a time. And I'm fine with that.
Probably but I’ll get what I can take. Anyway I think this game is only $20 which is a fair price in my opinion.
It's going to ISP related in someway.
I watched the Nindies showcase yesterday and came away pretty impressed. Switch is gaining enough ground for it to not only receive late ports, but also exclusives or timed exclusives. Was very happy to see Towerfall come to Switch, as the game always seemed like a blast, but no way was I gettinga PC game focused around local multiplayer. Now with Switch though, I'm already set for 4 player matches. They also showed a Harvest Moon like game called Mineko’s Night Market in which you keep a shop and neet to go scavenging for stuff to craft (I think). It had a nice artstyle and seemed nice overall. It also had a lot of cats in it. The Messenger and Transistor (which I haven't played yet) are also Switch bound. There was also a trailer for Mini Metro, which must have been the most daft trailer of them all, telling us nothing about the game, but featuring an elderly Japanese guy in a dance off. The game seems right up my alley, with minimalistic visuals and the potential for mind bending puzzles. Reminded me of the Art Style games on Wii for some reason.
All in all a good showing. Once more I am confronted with the finite amount of time bestowed upon us all, as I must admit that I'll never find the time to play all the games I am interested in.
This is a good
time wasteroccupier for the weekend."Former Xbox boss Shane Kim has been named CEO in the interim, marking the fourth handover of power since November 2017. "
WTF? Kim goes from running Xbox to Gamestop? Poor bastard.
And SEGA, hey how about you guys give Yakuza a break and make some fuckin' Phantasy Star games, you fuckin' cunts. And give the Shinobi IP to Platinum Games or Team Ninja while you're at it.
