^ New Switch XL?
Wouldn't surprise me.
I started messing with the PC version of FF13...man this version is fantastic. The PS3 game was pretty amazing looking back in 2008 but this version smokes it. Much better loading times also. I hope the rumors are true about FF15 coming to PC.
This weekend, I played hide the sausage and...
This game is probably the pinnacle of Team Ninja's work so far. It is the absolute --PERFECT-- blending of Ninja Gaiden style combat compexity with the gameplay of the Dark Souls series. In my opinon it actually --SURPASSES-- Dark Souls. It is ridiculously challenging, but it makes you want to --MASTER-- it and fight back. If you have a PS4 and you don't have Nioh, you're doing it wrong.
What are you Gaijin playing?
As for myself I went through ActRaiser and just started my very first playthrough of Soul Blazer.
I don't agree with the guy in the video. He's saying there'd be no point in having a PS4/PS4Pro like situation wherre the dock adds a lot of extra GPU power, because playing on the go would be too watered down. How is this any different from the PS4 and Pro situation? Is the PS4Slim suddenly obsolete because the Pro exists? And do games on the Slim really look or play all that worse than on the pro? I could see Nintendo definitely announcing a 4K dock for say €150, aimed squarely at 4K display owners. If anything, it'd be a much better deal than being forced to buy a whole new system, like what happened with the PS4Pro.
Splatoon 2 producer on making a proper sequel
This is a huge 4 page read. Great stuff.
Scares the shit out of me though. He says that Snipers were vunerable close up so that is why they have given them this charge and keep move. I say - bullshit.
Snipers have a close combat weakness because they can splat people a mile away and we can't do anything about it. And when you do get close they just burst bomb your ass, drop a grenade or activate the Krakken. So they already have that to combat their weakness. Meanwhile all the machine guns are getting no enhancements.
I'm half half on looking forward to the rollers adjustment because when you had a team with 3 rollers, the machine gun team always wins. But then you will get asshole players that can splat you close and far away. Thing Dynamo rolling assholes but even worse.
The new sub that bounces off walls does not explosde upon contact - there's a timer you have to judge and hold your shot for a timed event.
The splashdown move is going to be cheap as fuck. These people are going to look at their map, jump to the closest teamate engaged in combat and as soon as they land will destroy you from nowhere. Hopefully you get a warning like the inkstrike.
Splatoon 2 info is exciting and we got a global test to play it in March!!!
The thread the video was based on is here: The Curious Case of the Switch Foxconn Leak (Now a hardware fanfiction thread)
Lots of technobabble but most of it is well explained.
We can be Team Thong-Th-Th-Thong Thong.
Haven't read much about Splatoon 2 yet. I'm ok with snipers getting buffed, as long as they take away their Krakken. Honnestly, I hope the Krakken just doesn't return at all. As for rollers, I hate them. There were rollers in the original that had the same range as a gun. And now they're going to give them even better range? Insanity I tell you! Unless of course the 'broad' ink throw will be heavily reduced in range.
Now there's a phallic symbol if I've ever seen one.
The biggest problem is people over level 20 using Splattershot jrs with bubbleshields. You get tons of MAX level 50 Japs doing it which is infuriating. At which point I do the same just to get vengeance on them.
Mmmmmm. Sausage.
I was playing Gears of War 4 online all weekend. Playing on the new maps, the Valentines torque bow event, and collecting currency to open the mystery boxes for some sweet loot.
I played absolutely nothing this weekend. I was in bed with strep throat all weekend.
I played a respectable amount of XCX (nearing the end of chapter 7 methinks) and Bravely Second. I really loved Bravely Default and am enjoying the sequel a lot, even if it's more of a version 1.5 as the overworld and a lot of characters return.
Who is this Strep Throat woman? Is she hot?
No, she made me sick.
That leak in the updates says Switch is a 1 teraflop Jetson TX1 but that's using FP 16 coding.
I believe you were trying to write "street throat" in that post. That's what happens when you hang out on street corners in the middle of the night.
I have been playing Splatoon.
Even a year and a half later I am still finding new ways to play this game. I used to think rollers were junk for some levels where you had to climp up steep surfaces vertically like Blackberry Skatepark for instance.
Then I experimented and worked out you could use splat bombs to ink up almost any surface, easier and faster than even with a slosher. I also worked out that using 2 sub savers gave your 3 splat bombs from a full tank. 1 sub saver does nothing, 3 subsavers still only let you have 3 bombs. The standard is only 2 splat bombs.
This is why my experiments with gear were so important, you can get an edge by modifying how your character will perform by mixing up or doubling down on ablities. Knowing I now had 3 splatbombs and hiding in ink recharges almost immediately I worked out a new way to play. You can ink a wide area just by lugging out bombs continuously from a safe position.
