Re; Last Guardian additional delay, in development since 2007.
I don't say this flippantly, but this may be the first time in a long time where a ceremonial suicide would be appropriate.
Does anything -- not just games -- turn out well after a decade of development before the initial release? The Large Hadron Collider took a decade, and it's questionable if that turned out "well" though it eventually got the main job done.
I once had a project that had endless feature creep. Three years in I went into the team and said, "We are launching in 2 months, cut what you must." We launched a limited compromised product (from the original ideation) and then let the users guide our course as to where to improve and what to cut. The project was, in a very short time, completely successful. It was a classic example of sacrificing the good for the perfect.
Ms has dropped the rrp for 360's from the insane €250 to a reasonable €150. Can't say I'm not tempted, although I expect reason to win out as it usually does.
Buy it and then ten best games for the system (used).
Gg you seem like you have some personal problem with Armature or something. Are you really that butt hurt that these guys left Retro? Maybe they just wanted to try their own thing instead of working on Donkey Kong for 10 years. Can't fault them for that.
I get the impression that you get some satisfaction that their game isn't getting high scores.
Nope.
But you seem supremely butthurt that Recore is bombing.
I'm just sick of getting interested in them - reading about their projects and all about their Metroid Prime work only to have their projects come to nothing, or be shit. Or to see them just working on Vita ports. They are worthless as devs (three people don't make a company - one of them is a concept artist FFS) and I have wasted my time reading all the articles about them and their projects for nothing.
You however seem to have some eternal hard on for anything with the vaguest of links to the Gamecube era. You are a flat out Gamecube era fanboy, a Gameboy. Suck it up Buttboy.
Games that are engineered to take advantage of the N3DS do look better on the new hardware, just as is the case with the PS4Pro. The only difference is that with the PS4, devs can chose to patch improvements to already released games. Seems plenty similar to me.
Uh, really the N3DS is barely better than anything. PS4 Pros improvements are vastly better and will be supported by a far larger number of games.

Well I'm a few hours into ReCore right now & really digging it. The atmosphere is nice, the characters are charming, the controls are smooth & the game play is tight.
But what do I know. I'm not a professional reviewer.
Stop rubbing your genitals on the controller.

I tried to play Max Payne 3 but I don't think I'm going to like it. I thought I did like it at first, but now I'm not so sure. It's fucking boring.
What little I read about Recore is that deep down it's a fun game, but it's just buggy as hell. I'm glad that tecnical issues are being held against it in a day and age where it seems to have become the norm to let those slip, assuming they'll be patched out later.

BTW I pointed out that a lot of games bombed recentely, even made a thread about it, did you forget already? So it's not just a Recore thing.

The N3DS is much better than the original model. CPU is believed to be clocked at twice the speed of the original, while RAM has doubled and VRAM has been increased from 6MB to 10MB. Little is known of the GPU, but the factory models (not the semi-custom in the 3DS and N3DS) could clock about 140Mhz higher than what was applied to the original 3DS. The N3DS offers better framerates (Hyrule Wariors), better textures (MH4) an overall faster experience, lesser loading times and faster downloading. Seeing as How the PS4Pro's CPU hardly got bumped, I'd wager that the N3DS is a larger improvement over the original than the PS4Pro is in regards to the launch model.
I agree it's less impressive because it's a handheld, but it is relatively speaking a bigger step up. And that's not considering the N3DS's better screen and extra analogue nub.
I even pointed out that several Nintendo games bombed, but since I'm a butthurt Nintendo fanboy according to you, just disregard it, as usual.
If you're going to keep being a Clown I'll treat you like one.
LOL...ok, I'm being a clown because why? I said try the game before you act like its bad because of reviews? Fair enough, then stop acting like a retard.
Dude you are a total Nintendo fanboy, let's not pretend otherwise. And that's ok....I don't really care either way. Not saying all you enjoy is Nintendo and nothing else, but you're still a true and tried fanboy when all is said and done. The only thing that's annoying is when people pretend they're not one when they clearly are. Just embrace it.
That's really all I have to say. Reply if you must...send me some more links I don't care about if you must. Whatever floats your boat GG.

I guess it's all relative. To me, 2x Shit is still shit.

Nope you're clown because you retardedly said I was "butthurt" because 3 team members left Retro Studios a decade ago and haven't made a good game since. Really? Are you that fucking stupid? And you're a Clown because you've been throwing stupid shit my way for well over a month now I'm not letting it slide anymore and giving you the benefit of the doubt.
Stop trying to rewrite history.
Your posts don't even make any fucking sense: so the person who doesn't own an XB1 and doesn't want Recore is more emotionally invested in Recore bombing, then the person who does own an XB1 and bought Recore day 1 despite bad reviews. Yeah that makes sense..... smart guy.
You are coming across as a complete scumbag recentely and need to step the fuck off. The people here can see it and you are just embarrasing yourself. You're not even intelligent enough to make a decent troll and your posts just completely fail, with no logic whatsoever. I make a thread listing multiple games from all companies that have bombed recently and then apparently I'm super butthurt that Recore bombed - because it has three former Prime devs who have done nothing but Vita ports and mediocre games ever since?
You're like a severly retarded version of Carnageheart.
You know how you used to talk about how Seamus Blackley used to be a cool guy then became someone people didn't want to be around anymore? That's you. Act like a Clown, I'll treat you like one, act like a normal person, I'll treat you like that instead. You and your hyperactive little friend can do your own updates for the week. It's not worth my time being here.

Hey guys, remember how everyone enjoys being here because it's such a laid back place? Calling eachother names doesn't really add to that. Just agree to disagree and let it slide. And without taking sides, GG you can't expect Edge to behave anything other than himself, I doubt he's on some kind of trolling rampage against you personally. I do acknowledge that he's not up to his old self though recently. I mean, I can't even recall the last time he posted a gif of a talented woman showing off her skills...
I'm still playing MH4U on the 3DS. The 3DS is perfect when you have a newborn around, as I can take it with me and can pause every game just by closing it.
Anyhow, yesterday I fought a Seregios, which was a breath of fresh air to me. A lot of monsters in Monster Hunter look differently, but most of them get their moves from a mutual pool of moves. There's the double 180° tail swipe, the charge, the sideways bite, ... It's not hard to recognize those patterns in different monsters. Now the Seregios is a flying dragon like I've seen many before, but it has a nearly unique moveset. I was so happily surprised by this. I love these games, and the fact that this one is on a handheld has enabled me to really dig in, playing in small chuncks whenever I find the time.
I have Generations waiting for me to start. I've been on a roll lately, actually finishing games! If I start a Monster Hunter now, though, that will come to a quick end!

Stop living by the numbers and embrace your primal hunter instincts. I know you want to pound those big burly beasts with your huge sword till they succumb!
I look forward to getting back to Monster Hunter at some point in the not-too-distant future. But in the meantime there are Japanese teenagers that need my guidance as they fight demons and become Popstar idols.
