Tony put A LOT of work into that site, trying to make it a serious business. He actually invited quite a few indie developers into his indie games forum and a few of them joined. Last time I checked the Twiter page had 15,700 followers too. This isn't just a matter of a few posters losing their forum, this is about a man losing quite a few years worth of work thanks to a technical glitch.
...and before we go an laugh at a site when it's down, REALIZE Yoda renewed THIS site quite a few years ago. He hasn't been around much lately; his interest in renewing it again when it comes time, just may not be there. This place could cease to exist as easily as Freedom did.

I hope for the best. I find it hard to believe there isn't someway to restore data. It wasn't that the switch over went bad, Tony was just doing some improvements; an earlier version of the site must exist SOMEWHERE.
I don't see anyone laughing...all I see is Vader once again wanting to get Carnage over here and me offering to kick him in the nuts. Who's Tony?
He was one of the regulars from GameSpot back at the same time we were all there. For the life of me, I can't recall his name there though...

I don't think he was juradai. Juradai was a member here and a friend of Yoda's. Tony's never been here as far as I recall.

I MIGHT be on tonight for some Street Fighter. Might. Do you have Battlefront? I rented that as well.
Nope! Your money would have been better spent on Plants vs. Zombies: GW2 though... I've heard that Battlefront is quickly dying. Maybe the Blu-Ray release will re-invigorate it.
I don't think my local video store would have that. Can't spend a lot of cash since I'm saving for Uncharted.
Man, those names take me back... I never visited the RoF myself. I was a VU wanker. That place seems to have fallen pray to technical issues as well. Then again, they've probably only got about 4 active members these days, so yeah...
I feel bad for Tony. He's a really cool guy and I'm sure he put a lot of work into that site. I hope he can fix things up and get it running again.

Of course I hope for the best. He's going through a lot this is not helping. He is really trying to make that site work. Its a family there too, the cast is simply different.
Oh I'm down for battlefront one of these days.
