Nice. I'm sure you'll love it.
Spent most of the weekend getting further in Dark Souls 2 than I ever have before. What an obsessively addicting game!
Also, I have started playing Puzzle & Dragons Z again, so I will finish nothing again this year.
What about you, Undead?
I played a ton of Splatoon and some Dying Light. It's hard to find to for that game. I wish I could get into the Souls games like you guys. I admit, I only played a bit of Demon's Souls.
I've been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider lately and having a great time with it.
David Bowie died yesterday, aged 69.
I haven't been the biggest Bowie fan myself, although I do like his music. Sad to see another of the greats go. It makes you wonder, will we see stars as unique as people as he and of this level of fame in the times to come? I'm not really into music much, but it seems like they're a dying breed...
badabing bitch. Now install skype and come on the gameunder podcast.
pulling the steel clause.
Given the +5 I'd say the vgpress endorses ASS.
Definitely a dying breed, because the music industry on the whole hasn't been interested in real talent or integrity for a long time now. They want easy to listen to, safe music made by people who are easy to control. On top of that, so much has been done musically that its very tough to come up with something NEW anymore. Even just in my favorite genre, metal, its funny and sad because all the best bands today are for the most part bands that have been around for 20 or 30 years. There's never been that next wave since the 90's when bands like Pantera, Opeth, & Alice in Chains etc burst onto the scene.
But as far as I can tell....its like that in every genre. The best groups are the older ones who came from a different time before the industry went to shit.

Love this video with Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails.
Music has been much less about AAAs and all about the indies since basically the 70ies.
Personally I never cared too much about Bowie's music. He was avant-garde in the worst possible sense. More about being cutting edge or weird, than about making good music. I also didn't like how he assumed a different persona with every album. Yeah it was theatrical and what have you ... but you are supposed to be a musician, not an actor.

RIP David Bowie. Inspiration for nearly every Japanese video game character ever.
Wow, I was shocked to hear this. Such sad news. R.I.P. David Bowie, you were truly an icon.
I hate the platforming in Shovel Knight. I end up in every freakin pit all the time.

Just bought Fast Racing Neo, how the fuck is this the sequel to that Wii game? This is fucking awesome.
How is this not a full retail title?!
It could easily have been I think. Perhaps they would have had more overhead costs if they put it on disc. Or they may do a physical release down the line. In any case it's a great game for 15 euro. Even with just 16 tracks.

Isn't that the same number as Mario kart? This game is hardcore even on novice. GAF are ridiculous picking up on the digital foundry resolution comment. Gameruns like butter and is crisp as fuck
Dat storm level....wow. Feels like fzero. Plays like fzero. Costs 10 pounds.Mario Kart has 16 new, 16 remakes. So it's twice as many in total. And another 16 as DLC (which I understand doesn't count).
The only level which annoyed me was that desert one which doesn't have boundaries to keep you from running ridiculously off the course. Some of the others require some memorisation but they are mostly manageable (at least on the subsonic league).
Game still suffers from rubber-banding though. You're better off being second or third until very close to the end instead of running a flawless race and leading.

I have no idea how I got as far in that game as I did. Are you playing on Vita/ Wii U/ 3DS? I played on PC with XB360 controller and found it okay.
Especially Phantom Dust.
