Robio, how are you enjoying Fantasy Life?

Are you at all interested in Yokai-Watch?

I played it for about 30 hours or so. I enjoyed it but it was feeling very very repetitious after a while. I made it to the forth chapter and the story just wasn't enough to pull me in any further. Not really interested in Yokai-Watch either.

On that note I'm playing Dragon Quest 6. as I mentioned earlier it is the one game in the main series that I never finished. It never really grabbed me when I tried to play it earlier. It felt too similar to DQ 7 but not as fleshed out. since I got it for free I figured I would go ahead and give it a second try.

Nintendo lists Shovel Knight amiibo as compatible with Smash Bros.

Was there any doubt? It's doing great on Nintendo platforms, and is the best representation of the whole Nindie scene. I wouldn't be surprised if his Final Smash actually incorporated other Nindie characters like Commander Video, the Runbow characters, etc.

Let me know. My October gaming time is limited, and I'm going to try and save it for Fatal Frame (and possibly Costume Quest 2 once it inevitably goes on sale).  But if it's good I may try to add it to my holiday queue.

OK. So. In the last few hours on this site, I've started a mega topic and showcased a bunch of games people could possibly get into. I've also provided news on:

  • Street Fighter V
  • A MAJOR PC announcement
  • Amiibo News
  • Dark Souls III

...I've also given advice to Edge, played MGO with Travo and participated in his horror topic -AND-- posted what I played this weekend. IF I COME BACK HERE TOMORROW MORNING AND FIND ANYTHING LESS THAN 10 NEW POSTS, I WILL PERSONALLY FLY TO ALL OF YOUR HOMES AND SLAP THE SIDES OF YOUR COLLECTIVE HEADS WITH MY ENGORGED MEMBER!!

If I can do it in the condition I am in YOU ALL HAVE NO EXCUSES!!

That is all!!

HOLY CRAP!! Check out the Actors involved with Star Citizen!! Gollum meets Scully meets a certain Jedi Master!!

Stepping into X is overwhelming for its sheer vastness and scope alone, but that's what makes it so thrilling. The game feels endless, but my desire to keep on playing and discovering new things never left me. My early look has me confident that this game will inspire massive playthroughs just like its predecessor, but X feels like it has even more to offer in terms of variety and size. Plus, who isn't excited to see Takahashi and company get back to their sci-fi roots à la Xenogears and Xenosaga?

Xenoblade Chronicles X also has plenty of late-game content to make your Skell worthwhile. It features numerous post-game monsters, like a level 99 baddie soaring in the sky, and online play makes it possible to take down deadly foes with friends. In addition, hidden dungeons, higher-level mechs, and powerful gear and weapons provide extra incentive to keep exploring. “One figure we’re hearing from people [in Japan] is that they’ve spent two to three times the amount of hours they spent on clearing the main story on end-game content,” says Monolith Soft executive director Tetsuya Takahashi.
