I'm half interested in Battlefront now, Splatoon has got me more interested in capping fools and stormtroopers but I can't stand the idea of playing with dual analog aiming. It'll be okay for the ships, but in first or 3rd person, ewww.
You say there are no big hitters then immediately exclude two big hitters.

You can't deny that neither XCX and Splatoon have the same appeal as say a main Mario a Zelda game. Heck, even Nintendo was surprised by how well Splatoon did.
Hmm, Halo multiplayer fans could easily put in double the time it takes to finish XCX. That would be a better value to them.

The only one I would count as a release with blockbuster ambitions is Halo.
Xenoblade X is niche.
Uncharted Collection is just three PS3 games bundled up and toyed up but no reason for excitement for any gamers other than thosed who skipped the PS3.

I think the Pennsylvania Pokémon is good for the reason they gave though I would've preferred something that represents PA better.

It looks like Phil Spencer has learned a little lesson from the Xbox reveal a couple years ago. Now, they just need some big hitters like Gears to come out to appeal to me.
The Uncharted Collection will be a cheap, Black Friday purchase for me. I'd be more excited for it if the game offered mp.

So Star Wars battlefront beta is going on and it's pretty fun. It feels great to play, graphics are crazy good. The problem I see is how unbalanced the hoth level is, the empire always wins. The rebels have to do so many things to win and they have shit, meanwhile the empire has walkers everywhere. Flight is better than the old games and better than battlefront but still no rogue squadron. I can see this game getting old without any overall goal, it is just a simple multiplayer game.
But yeah it's fun and I will get it.
Btw MGO matchmaking is working now and getting into games is so much easier. The game is an absolute blast, but needs more modes.
MGO3 also needs more maps, host migration, drop-in/drop-out matchmaking, and a nerf to infiltrators then it'll be awesome.
