I don't even want to buy MGS5. Konami is hands down, the worst company in gaming right now...and NOBODY has fallen harder or faster than they have. Its pretty mindboggling.
I'll buy it to support Kojima. Now, when they make MGS6 with the current custodian, then I'll skip it.
Love the bear cover.
Kojima doesn't really need your support. If everything we read was correct, he was drawing a regular salary as opposed to being paid at the end of the project, which is the more typical scenario. That was one of Konami's bones of contention. He was taking a really long time to make the game and getting paid throughout the entire time. So Kojima is sitting on a big fat wallet right now because of the length of development.
So if you buy the game you're really only supporting Konami. So don't feel obligied to buy what is undoubtedly going to be a crap game strictly out of loyalty to Kojima:-)
Splatoon - complete patch notes for version 2.0.0
Splatfest changes.
- In calculating the final results, the winning percentage points (weight) has been changed from 2x to 4x.
Excellent. As someone who has voted on the less popular team twice, I can only applaud this.
- Inkzooka: Increased the points of turf inked needed to fill the special gauge from 180p to 220p.
- Echolocator: Increased the points of turf inked needed to fill the special gauge from 180p to 200p.
- Killer Wail (the Japanese name for this one is megaphone laser. oh my god.) : Decreased the points of turf inked needed to fill the special gauge from 180p to 160p.
Huzzah for less inkzooka's! And a big evil YESSSSS! for more Killer Wail Muahahahahaa!
New FFXV trailer debuts at 2am est, that's like 7am UK. There is a preview gif, it shows a cute dog.
This is ASS.
I use the inkzooka even though I hate it, I have little choice when I want to use my fave weapon the aerospray. Gimping it even further is out of order. Given me the option of a killer wail then, please. Fuck heads.
But that means if you already bought those on 360, you should be able to play them for free on XB1 via the backwards compat. Making the collection disc be worth a lot less.
Wow
So our first real look at gameplay:

And it's a 3rd person shooter with bullet time. Sound familiar? This is Remedy...
It's still really good value whichever way you look at it. To buy cartridges of some of those N64 games is impossible now. Conker would set you back triple figures. This is worth it for those alone

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Maybe Kojima was trying to fuck Konami over for all the dumb shit they do to his co-workers, and said fuck this ship is going down, why not milk every last drop?
After the SNES I made a conscious choice to keep all the games I loved and I've done pretty well out of it, aside from a few I now miss. Waverace Blue Storm and Luigi's Mansion being 2.
Konami should relocate to North Korea.
Yeah you're buying just the games that AREN'T on 360, in that case. Like me.

So no one has really got back to me on the weekly Mario Kart hour regarding preferred times or days - whether you even want to continue it?
Mario Kart: The VG Press Grand Prix [tester] succeeds (New Schedule under consideration)
So I'm in two minds as to what to do tommorrow? Do the same time or just leave it to die?
Oh man. Quantum Break looks awesome, can't wait.
Anyone picking up Splatoon before Saturday for the meet up?
Scalebound looks fantastic. Seems like a Devil May Cry kind of game with some Monster Hunter bits in there. Me likey.
