I've played MGS3: Snake Eater I'm trying to get into the lab were Sokolov is supposed to be held.

I've played a lot of Mario Kart 8 online this weekend. Still playing SimCity 5, and The Sims 4 as well.

PS3/PS4 questions.  Can you do a system transfer for certain things like preferences or PSN games?  Will logging into my PS account be enough?  Are my PS3 downloaded games playable on PS4?

I've been playing Dragon Age: Inquisition and Demon's Souls.

EDIT: Oh yeah I also played Forza Horizon 2: The Fast and Furious which a pretty cool stand-alone game. It's free until April 10th then it's $10. Now I really want to get Forza Horizon 2.

Oh man I remember playing King's Field, I loved that game. They need to put those on PSN as well as make a new one. It'd be interesting to see how they'd be received now.

Someone around here convinced me to buy both Kings Fields games, so they are still on my list to play.  I think it was Edge.

Played a little Harvest Moon Magical Melody and MadWorld this weekend. MadWorld has been a fun experience. My wife was reading in bed while I was playing it and kind of out of nowhere the announcers start up this exchange, "Speaking of bush, do you prefer a muff or a landing strip?" That got an amusing reaction.

My cellphone contract ran out this weekend so I was able to upgrade to a Sony Xperia 3Z. Very nice phone. And I can use it to for remote play on my PS4! Oh wait.... well maybe one day.

After finishing Resident Evil HD the other day, I had to quickly fire up Resident Evil 2 on Dreamcast for the first time since 2008. And man, playing these back to back really makes you sad that Capcom didn't let Mikami remake all 3 Playstation games like he wanted to. As much as RE2 was 10 times the original in many ways, it doesn't hold a candle to the remake. And when you play them back to back all these things pop out at you that they could have improved, tweaked, or changed in a remake. From the small to the large.

It really sucks that we will never get that remake for RE2. It was a special game, and I have no doubt that a remake would have one-upped the remake of RE1 just as the original RE2 was a better game than the original RE. I've always felt the level design and art style of RE2 was the best in the entire series, and I would have LOVED to see what they would do with it and how they would change it.

Things I would have liked to see in RE2make:

• A quick turn as all newer games have. Its such an advantage and when you don't have it, it sucks.
• Crimson Heads all over the place, even just coming across turned zombies on your travels.
• Fleshed out characters and dialog. Seriously, most of this stuff sounds totally cheesy today, especially after playing REmake which has a super serious tone. RE2 has so many NPC's you meet, they could have been much better fleshed out and more interesting in a remake, while adding to the realism.
• Obviously new areas to explore and new puzzles to solve, just like REmake. While also changing up old areas and giving them a big facelift. Being in Racoon City, they could have added in a huge new spot of the city to explore around the police station. And the police station itself would have looked so amazing.
• Improve the zapping system to allow even greater interaction between Leon and Claire.

Man....REmake still looks so incredible that I would honestly be 100% stoked if they just used that template and mmade remakes of RE2 and Nemesis out of that old engine. If the games were as high quality as remake, I would pay $60 each on day 1.

Did you ever try and/or like the Alone in the Dark games Edge?
