It was a Warriors weekend for me. Hyrule Warriors, Samurai Warriors and Shadow Warriors.
Putting the uptight reviews aside, this game is tons of fun, especially when you start using your Ki Powers and the enemies get enraged. You'll be slicing up demons one second, then you'll come across an ultra-pixelated, 1990's-like hidden area with a 2D anime woman bathing in the middle of it... It's violent. It's bloody. It's politically incorrect and completely inappropriate. God, do I miss the 1990's!
Beat a 6-story tall Minotaur Demon by shooting off his armor, while avoiding his huge axe and charges. Yep! This is a 1990's-like shooter through and through!
Who said they removed the racism? The game goes to all lengths to mock people who still can't tell the difference between China and Japan and pretty much starts off with the line: “I was hoping for a more cliched setting. I guess koi ponds and cherry blossoms will have to do.” "Lo Wang" comes across pixelated anime women... It's so stupid it's good. I can't see how someone who likes Serious Sam would be so disinterested in this game...

I saw this! Outrun 3-D and Fantasy Zone 2 are already on the pick-up list for day one. Can't wait to get a hold of these. The 3-D in Space Harrier was freaking perfect. Look forward to seeing how it looks in these two.
