There have been rumours for a while but this came out as "news" because Ubisoft went to a school and their staff told pupils that they were being pressured by console makers to limit PC framerates etc and match resolutions/framerates of PS4 and XB1 etc.

Look at weak the CPUs are. PS3 even beats PS4 on Cell alone. Once stuff is offloaded to the GPU, it's a different story. And then Ubisoft have the gall to defend the AC Unity Parity, saying it's "bullshit"? Their own graphs show PS4 with almost twice as much, more GPU performance. The Ubisoft dev also said, though it took "months" they got it running at 720p at 30FPS, meaning a U version would probably have been possible, with some downscaling of the crowds.

Destiny sold more on XB1 than PS4 but that does not include bundles.
-Smash sold 705K copies (135K of them digitally)
-Hyrule Warriors has sold 190K (digital + physical)
-Mario Kart sold 60K copies (digital + physical), 1.2 million LTD
-Destiny is the best selling game so far this year.

Well the numbers are skewed, no bundles for PS4 counted but X1 had a free game with purchase so their fake bundles counted as a sale for destiny.
My late September Wii U purchase already helped boost sales nearly 50%. Next month's numbers will improve even more.
