I've been playing South Park: Stick of Truth, an incredible game. Paper Mario and South Park fans should definitely check it out. Old school fans will love the Canada area, straight out of a 8-bit NES game. You even have to find your way through the lost woods to get there.
D3: RoS. Again. Now that I think of it, everyone should just assume I'm playing D3 always unless I say otherwise.
Steel likes the D3. Good to know.
Played Dark Souls II on PC and PS3 for the purposes of comparison. This console generation needs to be put to bed. :X
But, but, I'm still busy playing games on my PS3.
It doesn't help that there's nothing to play on the new ones, so maybe you have a point.
The actor that voiced Alfred in the DC Animated Universe and Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man the Animated Series has died at the age of 95.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
" Let me tease you something... It's coming... ;] "
I'd play that.
You probably have.
Went over to family in London for the weekend and ended up playing NSMB:U, SMB3DW and Nintendo Land with the kids. Played some NSMB:U coin battle against their eldest son, which I had never played before. He played dirty. Which was ok with me, so I didn't hold back and beat him to a bloody pulp. Still, I did need every trick in the book to do so. Good times.
how are you liking Mario Golf? I'm thinking of picking it up, but I've read that without the DLC, it's a rather slim game.
I'm in as well. I'll give you all a 2 days head start to keep things even, as I will be citytripping that weekend.
Efram?
Slim? Not at all. Between courses, online tournaments and all the things you can earn in the RPG mode --and-- the characters you can unlock, it seems anything --BUT-- slim!
...even if it was, the feeling of competing with the whole world and improving your skills enough to do so gives it more replayability than most games could ever hope to have!
Not to be snooty, but did you play the GBA game? The Eurogamer review felt it was barebones when compared against other handheld itterations. The handheld games always had large RPG modes, and apparently, this game's supposed to be a lot shorter. I loved the GBA version and so fear that I'll come away similarly underwhelmed. Then again, you seem very happy with what it offers, so maybe I should just give it a try nontheless.
I did play the GBA version, but a looong time ago and don't remember it too well. If the GBA was more of a full fledged RPG, then yeah, it's a little lacking, as all the characters really just encourage you to play, train and get good enough to take on Mario and crew. The RPG mode is really just a hub to buy things, practice, play and enter tournaments. What it lacks in story, though, it makes up in online competition. I haven't seen them yet, but apparently, there's coin collecting game modes and other crazy things too --besides-- just the golfing, so there's more to it than you think too!
I played the gba version for a bit, loved the RPG stuff, it felt like Pokemon with golf. But I much prefered the N64 and GC versions, I guess because they were in 3D. As long as the 3DS game is similar to those, I'll be happy and it seems to have a good heft of DLC lined up already. Sadly I've given up playing anything, due to wrists and boredom so I can't see myself getting anything other than MK8 anytime soon.
