Ah now we're talking. This is what get's me to play demos these days, stuff carrying over to the retail game. I will now find time to play this demo.
Game handed my ass to me. Any tips?
Just Started
Awesome texture work
So this was interesting
Awesome fucking bulge you mean. Does he suffer from hernia?
My head fucking HURTS man.
New Star Soccer 5 has delivered fun in spades. My guy (Findingnamesucks) has risen to stardom in the span of three years with Arsenal (stupid me for clicking on the first team that showed up before realizing finding a name for your player and registering it is a huge pain in the ass). I ahve achieved the highest FAME rating and my stats are all in the upper 8s, 9s and 10s. I have plenty of sponsorship contracts, own property, race horses and shit. We still haven't won a league but that's because everytime I get injured my dumbass team loses every match without me. We're closing the third year and asshole ManU is still leading by a few points so I don't think we'll catch up to them, but maybe we can nail the Cup and european League.
The game is developed by one dude, so it obviously has no licenses for the players. Hemce why the registering system is important. You basically load up the players that other people created for your team, so whle you might see a couple correct names, eventually you're going to have weird names in your starting eleven. My RB is a jolly chap named Turtle Man for example, and I wouldn't trade him for the real deal.
Dreamfall is coming to Wii U? That is such an odd pairing.
LOL I didn't notice till now. Why would they put that in?
How so?
With Nintendo giving free devkits and free Unity and allowing self publishing, most Unity indie games are hitting the platform.
That's what I was thinking...just doesn't strike me as a game Nintendo would go out of their way to try and get. Its always been a very PC/Xbox oriented franchise with a very cult following. Love the games though, they are great.
Just watched it. It basically looks just like it did on the PC...I don't know why they just don't say "We're bringing the maxed out PC version to new consoles".
Probably because not everyone may know what maxed PC version might mean exactly. Best just to explain the numerous enhancements along with a comparison video, much easy for more people to grasp.
Well I'm only halfway through the demo, so I'm not entirely sure I'm qualified to give tips. I will say that it's important to treat each battle with some respect and prepare for it. This is not a typical "press A to victory" jRPG. It's more along the lines of Earthbound where typical battles can get quick if one move goes wrong. You either have to grind a lot or think a lot. The shit I had to go through to defeat the first boss was insane. I had to come up with the kind of strategy that normally would be reserved for an end-game boss battle or a wickedly hard optional boss. I had to optimize equipment for individual characters, break out status changing magic spells, stat enhancement abilities, and strategic offense. Like I said, not the kind of things I'm used to doing in a jRPG. Very welcome change. I really hope all the game is like this.
The one simple tip I can give you is just make sure whatever your job class is, that you're optimally equiped for it. That means making sure whatever weapon and armor you're using are rated an A or S. It's easy to just look at stats and equip whatever gives you the highest boost to attack or defense since any job can use any equipment, but unless that rating is maxed out it won't really matter. That will definitely make a difference in battles.
Yeah Bravely Default is certainly tougher then your average JRPG. Played a bit of it and each battle needs to be taken seriously. I'm really enjoying it.
She was also in the original Wario Ware.
And console publishers/ manufacturers don;t want regular folk to know about PC.
lol
xb1 titanfall controller
Ewww
There should be a visual arts spell-check to catch shit like this.
Grasp this:
This was released in December in Europe and it's already becoming hard to find. I should have got it on release. JRPGs like that have a good chance of at least retaining their price (and oftentimes get much more expensive) for a very long time
