Agreed. At least I'll have the one game waiting for me when I get a Wii U but Nintendo's seemlingly stubborn refusal to do anything with this IP even simply putting the SNES game up on the Wii's VC is baffling.

A little. I would have blindly bit at $10. But there's already a ton off good early feedback so I'm willing to give it a shot.

I watched that half hour of youtube footage Ninty posted in the updates.  Not for me.  Think I would find it terribly repetitive and boring, which is how I feel about most of those early NES games individually.

After my whole big write-up for The Guided Fate Paradox in the Beaten Games topic, where I claimed the US mostly ignores Rogue-style games, I just checked GameSpot's Editor's Top Ten personal Game of the Year lists and 3 of 4 checked had Rogue Legacy and Spelunky on them... Totally unexpected! Maybe there's hope for the West yet?!
