Rejoice long time Splinter Cell fans, after playing deep into the solo campaign I can confidently state that this is the best Splinter Cell ever. It's not twitchy, it's not shoddily made, it's not boring, it's not just a retread of older games and scenarios. Just watch out if you're buying the 360/PS3 versions, the screen tearing is about 20% of all frames.

Foolz, since yesterday was my end of internet cap day I uninstalled and re-installed (re-downloaded the 6gb) Metro 2033. Same error. So I'm done, it looks like.
Setup went very smoothly. No lock-ups, weird noises, or discs getting scratched. Controller feels great. Much better d-pad and the rumbling triggers are very cool. Snap feature is totally awesome. I love having the ability to put something in the sidebar if needed while playing a game or watching a movie. Camera seems to work great. It does feel a bit awkward trying to get around in the UI and I'm hoping for an update to resolve some of this plus I'll get used to finding my way around better simply with more experience. Forza 5 looks and plays fantastic. Killer Instinct looks good and plays great. Still need to check out a lot more features of the system.

In listening to various podcasts re GOTY considerations, I just cannot, cannot, believe people are considering Brothers for their top ten lists. Foolz and I beat that thing when it came out, so I know I am not alone on this one, the game is so very, very mediocre.
