I know right? It's not like the Witness has groundbreaking visuals. They say they can load the whole thing into system memory instead of streaming "FUCK last gen streaming". Same thing that TT Fusion does in Lego City, they load the whole freaking city into the RAM at once instead of streaming and the result is pointlessly long initial load times. Meanwhile NFS on the same system has a city as big - probably bigger with graphics several times more detailed and it loads several times faster and streams properly.

You get similar arguments from devs working on PS4, they see Xbox One and Wii U ed/esram > with larger pool of DDR3 as a puzzle that they don't want to have to solve. Seriously if devs start acting like streaming is a big deal breaker and using it as an excuse to skip platforms.... ugh. That's why I like the Japanese, they work within limitations instead of always bitching about needing more. They make a game FOR the platform it's on.

Xbox One pre-orders are topping PS4 and 360 pre-orders as we speak. I think the sales will matter more than the mass of internet noise levelled at MS. I think it will be a while before casuals actually find out the restrictions. It seems ludicrous that I can't lend my bro a game. I can give it to him but he can't give it back to me, or give it to anyone else. And I can't sell it on ebay, only trade it in to an approved shop and where are these magical places in modern day Britain when the only franchise: (Game) closed half its stores? There is no store within 10 miles of me.

And these stores always rip you off anyway.

Anyway what is on the schedule for E3 today? MS conference and is Sonys' today? Nintendo Tuesday? What else? Oh wait I just remembered Sony conference is at 2 am UK time, brilliant

I am contemplating a topic right now that some of you might find offensive. It's probably pointless to do this the week of E3, or maybe it's the perfect time. Haven't fleshed it out yet, but it could very well be the MOST IMPORTANT topic about gaming EVER!
