NGamer reviews NSMB 2
NSMB2 is yet another great Mario platform game, with some cracking new features, but it’s too similar to earlier games in the ‘New’ series to be a classic in its own right.

I enjoyed the 1st one, but I still don't get the Zelda comparison. I just did not see it that way. But anyway yeah it should be good, plus Madden soon too. I have to get this years, because I think the Bears have a good chance this year.
^ I think it is the dungeon exploration with the associated puzzles and the aquisition of new tools and weapons over time. And a horse.
Yeah, it's going to bomb with the people, but I think critics will get behind it. It has unconventional controls in a shooter -- that tends not to go over so well. It'll sell well in any case, it's part of the Summer of Arcade or whatever it's called.
I might get Spelunky or Deadlight tomorrow, along with the 2nd. Alan Wake DLC.
Also, I just started playing Infamous: Festival Of Blood. IT'S FRICKING AWESOME!
Seriously, we need more vampire games, the zombie fad is already becoming tiresome.
Problem with vampire games is that they have to take place at night. Who wants a night cycle all the way through the game? (half-kidding).
Huh? Its Zelda, it has identical dungeons, identical items, same kind of puzzles, an overworld. There are plenty of differences too but its clearly uses Zelda as the inspiration.
Oh damn. I will wait till I have a trip later in the month to get it.
Solution: base it on Twilight!
I think we need a plan B.
He's stepping into Lost Guardian territory (in terms of BGE2 being anticipated). You can only keep the hype for so long.
From what I learnt from the Olympics Opening Ceremony you have access to wonderful health care system. Use it.
That depends on what's wrong with you.
But my GP is shit.
Sorry to hear that GG. I think it was how I got sick as well, but mine was not nearly as bad. Britain is notorious for respitory infections though, you guys practically invented them.
And why don't you register to a different GP? Surely there must be others not too far from you

Read some reviews for Deadlight and NSMB2 that were posted in the news.
Concerns about Deadlight being a bit on the short size and a bit hollow for the asking price of 1200 points, but I never judge a game on its length so I think I still really want it.
NSMB2 never really sat well with me from the beginning. I think I may have burned my Mario fuse with 3DLand. This may be the first Mario platformer game I choose not to play. And it angers me that Nintendo did a by numbers Mario sequel instead of finishing Paper Mario 3D and Luigi's Mansion 2 as promised. Thinking of the bottom line Nintendo? Fuck you very much

I did register for a different GP - this is them, they are shit. The problem is that there are so many more patients compared to 10 years ago they treat you like you're at the counter at a fast food joint.
I think that NSMB 2 is a solid buy, but it's nothing you can get excited about. Like the DS game.
