I thought about that, and I agree with you completely, and I understand that it's a more elaborate scoring system, and I also have enjoyed having a checklist of chalenges within the game. But that is just up to the developer of each individual game (and it is even better when they are incorporated in the game with in-game rewards) and Nintendo have already started doing that with a few games like Wii Sports Resort etc. It doesn't require a unified system like the achievement points and trophies, those seem to me more for building up useless stats.

Has anyone tried Netflix on a 1mb connection? Is it really terrible or watchable? I don't want constant buffering and frame skips. I don't expect great amazing quality, just a smooth video?
I've streamed Netflix movies to my tablet (or rather the kiddo has) and it's looked just fine.

hahaha that's my Witcher: EE screen on the low res GAF thread. Kotaku also ran with it, in typical fashion, and showed another of my screens (LOTRO). This is my peak of internet fame.
I've tried Netflix on 1Mb connections, it's fine. I stream stuff over wifi using the lame ISP router to the netbook while I'm in bed, and I don't have too much of an issue. I'd love to do that with the Wii U tablet.
