Those two stuck together.  It was close but I need to get better at aiming.  I rely on blindfire and melee too much for close encounters.  I didn't think I would ever say this, but I'm tired of the sanctuary.

The graphics are beautiful with pixel perfect character models, colored lighting and lens flares. The 3D is just sooo much more appropriate for a 3 D fighter! It seems odd to have a console calibur Team Ninja game in the palm of your hands, but they really pulled it off!

The 3D is not at all difficult to keep in view, even with --FAST-- combo action, explosions from ring hazards and the "multi-tiered-jumping-between-fight-platform" mini cut-scenes happening in the middle of a bout! Team Ninja REALLY shows their professionalism when it comes to the visual aspect of games even in this portable port!

There's a ridiculous abundance of replayability in the game too as there are 10 different modes and multiple unlockables throughout each. "Chronicles" is the Mortal Kombat (2011) Story Mode in the DoA universe, spanning the multiple games' plots. "Arcade" has multiple Courses to play through with different Bosses from the different versions of the games waiting for you at the end of the course. "Survival" has you pitted against multiple of 10's of enemies, surviving with one life bar through each wave... There are Versus modes, Tag modes... it goes on and on and on...

Playing Arcade Courses opens MORE Arcade courses. Playing Chronicles tells the stories of the Characters. Survival opens more Survival options... and they ALL open more Characters, Costumes, Voice Tracks and Models of the characters (of which there are HUNDREDS)... to Photograph in yet another mode from *ahem* multiple angles. Team Ninja, gotta love 'em!

I have yet to play Online, but here is a --CONSOLE CALIBUR-- Virtua Fighter style 3D fighter with --TONS-- of Content to be had for the little ole 3DS! You GOTTA be STARVING for a new title for the 3DS by now! I wholeheartedly, HIGHLY recommend a purchase without a single hesitation! More than 100% worth it!

You've just summed up why I'm digging the game.

Though I wish I had manual control over the tag battles. That sucks.

I loved that game on the Xbox, one of my favorite stealth based games. Also, while its not a horror game, there's a level in the game that's scarier than almost any horror game I've played.

I've seen articles like this popping up all over the place. Exactly what does a company get when they "win" E3 anyway. Nintendo won it last year by all accounts. Did they get a trophy or a sticker or something?

I've been looking at vacation brochures recently and they show that street in Miami that is lit up in Vice City - it's iconic in the photos. Where else would you get bright purple and blue buildings lit up at night like that?

Yeah, GTA Xbox I think it was similar to COD4 and COD Black Ops Wii port situations. GTA3 and VC released at least a year or more later than PS2 I think and they might have adapted some of the technical improvements they already made from the PC version they worked on. Then San Andreas was a simultaneous PS2 and Xbox launch so I guess they didn't have the extra time to optimise it. As an Xbox owner it left you in the weird position of having a new GTA looking worse than the GTAs you had already played.

And yes, I was serious about most people who hate the game are closet racists. Note I said most, not all. I  wasn't referencing your statement about the characters needing subtitles as being racist, I personally had no problem understanding them, but if there was a GTA set in Wales I probably would not be able to understand them, that's just exposure.  Bottom line, my comment wasn't directed at you, so don't take offense.

I'm talking about people who otherwise love the GTA series but then when it comes to San Andreas say things like, "There was something about it I just didn't like" (like playing as a black man perhaps?).

I guess I was exagerrating against the 10/10 bro-fist reviews at the time which made it look like the second coming. I don't think it's a bad title, just not one that I enjoyed as much as all the other GTAs I had played so far and with hindsight, I'm not sure if those same review sites would still 10/10 it.

On the closet racism thing, I took it two ways, either personal or general, I think it's a pretty unfair statement to make either way. It's not just a race question it's down to the characters, whatever race they may be.

I'm with you there, the cheesy 80s music is just fun and evocative to listen to in that game.

Bragging rights for internet fans. Nintendo has had quite a few E3 atrocities like that Pac Man Vs thing or the Wii Music E3 that its hard to predict what they are going to do. One good thing is that they have said that Project Cafe will be playable so they can't just renege on that.
