Jesus, i just watching footage of Uncharted 3s multiplayer and Skyrim, both games are stunning. Both games are going to be GOTY contenders. They come out within a few days of each other, insane.

We can very well have Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Zelda (and Sonic) all come out in a 2-3 week period. I don't think I can handle that. This will be one of the greatest years in gaming history.

I don't need to imagine the scenario: it has been realised and the results were minimal improvement with what you're talking about. You'd be getting Endless Ocean with better AA and a higher resolution. It would be nice, sure, but not this life changing fantasy that you're suggesting.

Incorrect I found an actual screenshot. You went with one of the usual bullshot images from some HD wii program on a computer. That screen shot is exactly how all wii games look on HDTVs. All my Wii games have that grain (Except Galaxy, I have no clue what Nintendo did with those games), they all look like that cause it is not HD.  When you play the game you mostly see that, that is how you control your character, that is the normal gameplay view. That is the real picture.

Looks great for wii, still if it were on a PS3 or 360 the ocean you would explore would be more populated, it would feel more alive, the lighting would be better, the structures would have more detail, the framerate would be better, the character models wouldnt look like ass, the draw distance would be farther, etc.
