The zoomed in parts look exactly like that, though. Probably becuase they're cut off scenes so all graphical power can be focused on modelling the fish or shrimp or whatever in question and the pre-rendered background. You were saying they don't.

The video doesn't have any zoomed in parts from what I saw. (I just skimmed it, though.) There are also better quality videos (simply because some areas look a lot better than others. In the first game the ghost ship for example looked a lot better than many other areas) but I'll say it's more accurate than both our pictures for the normal part of the game. Agreed. But once again the screenshot I posted was 100% accurate.

Ok but imagine doing that without having to be zoomed in and removing the rest of the game.

And here is a video with lots of zooming in, doesnt look photo realistic at all.

So Portal 2 is out worldwide, it seems...

And for the brief moment I played, it was pretty damned well written. Not hilarious, but better than a lot of other gaming writing.

That's just zooming in on random fish, not the smaller things on rocks that you have to zoom in to see at all (like the shrimp I posted). Note that it only changes the perspective and everything is still in view in the background so there's going to be no graphical boost; it's just literally zooming in. The smaller creatures look beter than the zoomed in fish, and agreed the random fish zooming in doesn't look all that photo realistic. The shrimp does, though. Not all zoomed in creatures look as good as that, but the majority do. The water spiders usually look pretty bad, though. The spiders are also one of the few creatures in the game with bad animation.
