so far inless i really get pissed i should play the game from start to end the story is  entertaining even if  i'd do things different if i had a choice

I played the first game on the 360 and I'm doing the same with this sequel so comparatively it looks and plays much better. The environments are repetitive though. Well my weekend was pretty much filled with Katamari Forever. Great game. I think I'm going to try for Platinum on this one.

I've also got The River King - Mystic Valley for the DS. Actually found it after getting it a couple years ago and then having one of the kiddos lose it. Going to have to spend some time with that this week. It's not Harvest Moon, but it's in the same ballpark.

In other shitty news I dropped my Droid and the screen shattered so now I'm going without a smart phone. Hope I can make the transition to the stone age (aka 2009).

My son and I watched part of the Superman Blu Ray tonight.  When Superman rescues Lois and grabbed the helicopter with one hand, he said "Whoa!"  I think we have a new fan.

BTW, for a 30 year old movie, it looks freakin' gorgeous.

I love how they were wise enough to set up part 2 at the beginning of 1.  Well, they did film them at the same time.

They're corny as hell, but that's part of the charm.

Saw both for the first time a few years back, shocked that they hold up really bloody well.

In certain games, I get filled with dread going into the last boss.  The last boss should be tough enough to test your skills, but ultimately be a reward to teh player for gettting to the end.

But most games just want to whack you around.  At least in my experience.  Ah well, here goes...

It's not that bad.

I only got stuck becuase you have to do a specific thing at one point, and would like to think that explosives applied to the head would do more than what you're meant to do.
