On a more upbeat note, a while ago I joined Gamestop's PowerUp Reward programs. Most of it is crap - save up 10,000 points and get $10 off a purchase, or posters from Game Informer magazines. However, one of the cool things they do is for lower point amounts you can trade in for old pre-order incentives that were never given away.  And so for just a mere 3,000 points I got this!

A small Pac-Man plush. So cute!

They also have the Sonic hat from the Colors pre-order incentive. Interesting trivia fact for you, Gamestop employees apparently referred to the Sonic hat as the "hat of shame" and would force each other to wear it for doing something stupid while on the job.

It's easy to get. Just sign up for the PowerUp program in the store, and then buy a game. You'll get some bonus points for activating the account with a purchase and that should be all the points you'll need for Pac-Man.

i like the posters,the online cards, and the pokemon toys but yes most items are crap but if people do a lot of shoping from them then ti is worth while to get  a card even if its the free one

Not to diminish this at all because it IS a devastating tragedy, but the Sri Lanka/Indian Ocean Tsunami had over 230,000 people killed. The expected death toll for this disaster (so far, god help us) is 1,000 people in Japan. Thank God Japan is literally built for events like this... it's the after shock that's going to be the unknown variable at this point.

High Voltage: The Grinder is Still Alive

I really hope this game gets picked up. Surely there's got to be some publisher that'll pick it up. Looks like a fairly original shooter on a console that doesn't have nearly enough.

Steel sorry I didn't respond earlier but I don't know what the Bungie beta test email was for, I can only assume it was for their new game. I got the email because of the option I checked when I joined their website.
