Blame it on error.
Amazon has the PS3 as the biggest movers and shaker of the day. It increased 643,000% in sales today.
Maybe it was all a clever plan to give the PS3 a bit of publicity.
I played a good amount of Plants vs Zombies which I'd got during the Steam christmas sale. Finished adventure mode, most of the puzzles and some of the mini-games.
Also played a few hours of Red Dead Redemption. So far ... it's very good but i'm not obsessing over it yet. I think I will play through the story, without bothering too much with all the mini-games, collections, unlocks etc

I got Okami on Wii.
I don't get people's control issues with the drawing, it seems to work as it should. It's done with pointing so you aren't gonna be making works of art, obviously (not that you'd do those with an analog stick), but all it asks for is straight lines, things that vaguely resemble circles (it's very forgiving), dots, and roughly filling in whole patches of missing stuff, all of which were really easy to do, and I was playing standing so my hand wasn't rested anywhere.
Sometimes my slashes which are done with straight lines didn't work but I can't imagine that was 100% reliable on PS2 either, especially when you try to do them at weird angles to catch more enemies with one strike, so my only issue is the nunchuck shake dodging being fiddly and not doing the direction you want, but it seems completely optional (I had to purchase the ability and I haven't needed it, just running or jumping out of the way works).
So, yeah, unless it requires much more complex shapes later, it works fine. If you can control the Wii's pointer well in any random (decently made) game, you'll have no problems whatsoever with Okami on Wii.
The game looks pretty nice still, with the exception of some transformation scenes which are as they were on the PS2 version, and thus don't match the more vibrant in game colors of this Wii port, but it's a minor issue, and you could take it as the game adding extra sunshine for these scenes to look more fairy tale-ish or something.
I also replayed a bit of Metro 2033 to see if I can get the other ending, after the recent sequel talk got me interested again, and some more Monster Hunter Tri.

I've never heard from anyone who has actually finished Okami (PS2 or Wii) so if you finish it let me know. I pre-ordered it on the PS2, still have not gotten to it.

In other news, there si a story bouncing around every where about Square trademarking the names Final Fantasy Type-1, Type-2 and Type-3.
I'm not posting their ridiculous trademarks and whoring out of FF anymore. We get it, Final Fantasy Random Word/Number Combination is owned by Square. What does it mean? It means they aren't focusing on making the numbered games in the series better.
It's very simple Agnates. It's a Wii game so the controls are automatically unintituve, don't work, a waggle fest, and have bad instructions.
i think it was just the end credits that got the cut.

The colors are not washed out, they're more vibrant as they removed the filter that was supposed to make them look like rice paper art or something on PS2, and thus more muted and lighter. Here's a crappy comparison video. You could say the Wii port is more like normal water color art. But if you've finished it I don't see a reason to buy.

Aspro was just on not too long ago today correct?!
This is kinda freaking me out!
Yeah, the idiots talking about it don't seem to recognize the 60GB PS3 hasn't been in production for 3 years. They can't honour the price on a non-existent product.

Some more so so screenshots of Wipeout SD. Sorry, I mean F-Zero Wii. Scratch that, it's FAST Racing League for WiiWare from the developers of Jett Rocket and Art of Balance.

Sucks. Looks like he was really into it too -- variant systems, game and watches. Thankfully I live on a big hill in an elevated house, so no flood will touch my stuff. And if that shit happened to me, you know I'd be posting it here first. Then I'd go to the pub and drink myself to oblivion for a day.

Deus Ex sounds like the perfect sequel. 25 hours long and not the usual linear shooter game. GOTY contender right there.
