HOLY SHIT
Portal can now be done in LBP2. At this point it would be easier to list which games LBP2 can't replicate. Can you imagine a mix of Mario and Portal.
Meh. If you're getting so into homebrew and like seeing what random people can make, the PC space is the number one place to delve into and get just about anything, from actual (Source, Unreal, Battlefield, etc) mods and total conversions to free stuff which aren't tied to a particular game. Start here and here. Most don't have high requirements as the popular modable games are older while freebies and indie stuff tend to be lower end.
Speaking of things like that, the first demo of that Sonic 2 fan remix is already available for download. There are a few minor known issues remaining still but there you go. They'll soon get a website for the project online.

I like Billy Joel a hell of a lot now. Also, funny that he reads TV reviews...
There are plenty of reasons artists license their music for a rhythm game. There's money, certainly, and notoriety. But what about scorn? For Billy Joel, it was more than enough reason to license a dozen or so of his songs to Rock Band 3. Here's his account from USA Today:
We're assuming the songs will cost money, but we'd submit that reading the above story and knowing we'll never do anything remotely that cool is a dear enough price to pay.
Thank you.
Though my computer probably can't handle it.
Because IIRC Steelo has never played either one, so he's in this position of not caring about nintendo stuff cause he never got into the franchises like most of us did in the 80s and 90s. Which would make his new first hand impressions curiously interesting to read. Love or hate.
I wonder what would happen if the source of the leaks was actually traced. Huge lawsuit?
You should do that anyway
That was Ocarina, the problem was that suddenly because the temple was water filled you weren't just walking on a horizontal plane, you could swim up and down the dungeon and solve it in a 3D space manner. And the levels and filling water got confusing because the map wasn't that good. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are easy as pie though.
I'm great at the water temple and Prime 2. Super Metroid however, godamn I can't beat Kraid. I'm suprised anyone can with controls as shitty as that.
Aspro!

You mother f********** son of a *****.
No soup for you!
Nice video. I just realised that Goldeneye and Epic Mickey are some of the very few wii games that get this video doc treatment and a constant updating of new media.
On Steel, yeah, okay, Fair enough.
On Zelda being flabby -- prove me wrong.

Developers Pay Tribute To An Icon On 25th Anniversary Of Super Mario Bros.

Game designers including Hironobu Sakaguchi, Todd Howard, Keiji Inafune, and Hideo Kojima pay tribute to Mario on the 25th anniversary of the release of seminal Famicom platform game, Super Mario Bros.
I saw a bus in Brisbane (state capital) today completly skinned in a congratulatory Mario advert.
I was just wondering, on Oprah did she give away Kinect + 360s to use them with?
Anyone watched the single player goldeneye vids? They're old but I didn't see anyone commenting on them before.
Has anyone ever played Again for the DS? It was developed by Cing and seems to be a point and click adventure game along the lines of Hotel Dusk. It looks interesting but the few reviews out there are all very middle of the road.
Andriasang has translated The Last Story details from Famitsu. The combat sounds awesome, you auto-attack by moving near enemies or choose to attack via button presses (in both cases you need to manually block and dodge), you have all sorts of abilities tied to the gathering skill, and you can enter a paused command mode to order the rest of your party. It sounds like a combination of standard JRPG, Tales action, and old school CRPGs. You do only directly control the main character as was known but the rest of it isn't random or automatic, you can still choose what your allies do rather than simply react to what they decide. The official website has been updated with the new trailer, probably in higher quality than the YouTube version, but the stream doesn't work for me.

I really liked Hotel Dusk, but Again doesn't look all that appealing to me. I'd be much more interested in a North American release of Last Window.
The website is up but very simple for now. The rapidshare download link is down but you can get it here.
