Somewhere in NY, Leo's senses started tingling.
Er, deja vu I think I posted these already. Since I went to the effort you can just look at them again.
Randomly typing FU into a search engine made me stumble upon this.
Seriously, how was this EVER considered a good idea?
In the game's storyline, Shaquille O'Neal wanders into a kung fu dojo while heading to a charity basketball game in Tokyo, Japan. There, he stumbles into another dimension, where he must rescue a young boy named Nezu from the evil mummy Sett-Ra.
I mean, it wasn't even the 80s. There is no excuse for this shit.
Every time I see this game, I want to play the Castle of Illusion.
I never heard of those movies either.
You have to download all of the map packs before you buy them?
That sounds like an unnecessary waste of bandwidth and HDD space for those that don't buy them.
Great to hear that the AI in Reach is so good. I always thought that the AI in Halo games were pretty well done but this sounds even better. Only about 3 more weeks left. Oh man I can't wait, it's going to be crazy awesome on that day.
I hated shape of the right analogue stick on the Duke controller. Weird penis head shaped nub, FTL!
Oh yeah Force Unleashed 2 is looking great. I never did play the first game. I should look around at a few stores here, I can probably get a copy for cheap now.
It's great! Shank feels like a animated cartoon in action and I just love the artwork. Scott Pilgrim is cool, like a really good SNES game. I love the nostalgia feel to it.
I'm really loving this revival of 2D games lately.
EDIT: Scott Pilgrim is cool but damn it's hard playing it alone. One thing that drives me nuts is how slooooooooow you get up once you get knocked down.
I guess I need to get used to it a bit. It's cool though.

yeah, i bet they're doing it out of spite
either way i'm not paying for any DLC whether i've downloaded it already or not

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Oh no... nothing is worse than that. Loading a tape for 20 minutes and then having it fail 3/5 times - no thanks.
You should get the UC2 dlc though because the multiplayer is pretty awesome and addictive. I think that's what makes UC2 probably the best game of this gen because it has a excellent single player that's only enhanced with a excellent multiplayer. Most multiplayer in good single player games are throwaways or afterthoughts but Naughty Dog really crafted a really good multiplayer to UC2 that doesn't feel tacked on at all!
From what I've played, I can easily claim UC2 was more fun than Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3, or Gears of War multiplayers.
I just love the semi-fantasy, Indiana Jones-esque setting in UC2. And it has Elena Fisher, which always makes it a HUGE plus!
You can't get Wetsuit Elena without buying some DLCs!

Please! N0TH1NG is GREATER than HALO 3 multiplayer! N0TH1NG! Well, except for HALO REACH, which will PWN ALL this SEPTEMB3R!
Honestly, I couldn't get into Halo 3's multiplayer.
Maybe Halo Reach will be better.

It wasn't considered a good idea. It was considered a GREAT idea. If you were an NBA fan and living in the US around the time this game came out (1993 or so I think), Shaq was being heralded as the next god of basketball. The heir apparent to Michael Jordan. And he pretty much was. Not just on the court, but in terms of marketability.
So Shaq got movie deals, he got music albums, and he got himself a video game. They were all horrible, but for the most part the country was too caught up in Shaq-fever to even notice and they were successful. Except for maybe the movies. Those pretty much bombed.
