This is the first new release I will get since SMG2. I am so excited a NEW game, I feel like I have been stuck in some time warp the last few months.

(Of course this Metroid game is a throwback to oldschool so it probably wont help that timewarp feel.)

I still feel Other M has no chance of being as good as Prime 1 or 3. But if its as good as Fusion or Zero Mission I will be pleased.

Yeah you really need to get another HD system soon. Other M will probably be something I'll enjoy but man there's still a lot of other games I'd like to get around to picking up plus we're getting close to that time of year where a bunch of big titles will be coming out.

Replay a game you love, something you haven't played in years. That could hold you up till Metroid.

Yeah. Just read a GameSpot preview for GRWii. They try to say it's not on rails because you can apparently choose 2-3 points for your guy to move toward at times, and if he'll either run there or walk so you can shoot at the same time. So that's like totally hardcore gameplay depth. Because camera control is too hard. And this design choice only takes camera control away and leaves everything else intact. Not. Frakers. Same dudes that made the Wii Transformers game which was also on rails. The PSP gets a proper GRAW-like game by the way. Swell.

Granted it looks pretty bad, but at least they tried a bit.

They will scam a few people to pay full price for it thanks to the name and the Ubisoft Zapper (yeah, no kidding), not to mention this shit costs nothing to make and so despite pathetic numbers it will actually bring profit, but then they can use said pathetic numbers to justify why they don't do a serious effort on Wii. Two birds with one stone.

Ubisoft are awful sometimes. They did an Assasins Creed on PSP and DS and PC and 360 and PS3, but not on Wii. They even did a GRAW PSP game but not a wii one. Seriously, they poke the console with a stick like its a steaming pile of shite.

At this point in the Wii lifecycle, I don't expect any newly announced 3rd party games to have, even a shred of credibility.
