The point where you can almost attack him is when he teleports closer to you. Melee attack him there.

He'll teleport further away again then start his big attack; the one where he sweeps his arm, summoning a fan-shape of electric spheres that explode after a few seconds. Depending where he teleports to on the screen, you have only a split second to position yourself: If he is on the left side of the screen, around the seven o clock position in comparison to him. If he is on the right side of the screen, around the 4 o clock position. Top, I think is about 6 o clock-ish. I have to be playing to know for sure, cause it's just instinct now, but the "safe spot" is always in the same spot depending on where HE is.

Once you get by that attack, he'll jump to the center of the screen and summon four projectiles in quick succession. Before he fires the first, auto-target him and melee the projectile back at him. If you are quick, you can probably do this once or twice more... Each deflection takes off about 20% of his life.

Much like GG, once you get to know him well, he gets to be pretty predictable and goes does really, really easily!

I rule that both of your opinions are invalid.  River Raid is the best game in the 2600.  The second best game is Demon Attack.

River Raid II is better.
