Wow at the Prince of Persia Wii video.
Some looks good like the screens, some looks like a PSP game. Holy crap at a few of the textures, so muddy. Would love to see a clear video at 60 FPS as at the moment I'm wondering what journos were spooging over in their eyes on.
Actually from 2 mins 16 secs it looks decent.
I like what they are saying about design your own path. Being able to create your own way through an area, thats one of the new ways design can be approached using an innovative interface.
Finally have a bit of free time. Have a ton of new games waiting to be played... aaannnddd...
BAM ! ! !
I get hit with some of the worst allergy attacks I have experienced since my youth! Eyes itchy. Throat closing. Head muddled. Constant sneezing.
I went to bed as early as possible last night, feeling absolutely drained. Woke up feeling the same!
I have sooo many game I want to play, and I am falling behind everyone on FFXIII!
I played a bit of Fragile last night. For those of you that decide not to even play it due to the scores, I feel bad for you, you are missing out on an extremely unique experience on the Wii.
I played a bit of Infinite Space. Same sentiment as Fragile. Apparently, franchise titles = guaranteed money = better scores; niche games = less marketing dollars = lower scores... and everyone is listening to the reviewers. Oh well.
Anyway... ...I'm gonna get some more rest...
There's always some reviews conspiracy with you. If everyone listened to reviews they would have all gone out and bought No More Heroes 2 by now.
Yay, Spirit Tracks and Another code wii failed to sell again when relisted with ebay. So I'm stuck with them.
Yay...
not saying they don't, but check to make sure they appear in all the relevant searches. people can't bid unless they find the listings.

yeah i agree, if they don't sell this go around just hang on to them a while longer and try flogging them on ebay some time later. trade-ins are such rip-offs

I have both A Boy and His Blob (Wii), and Icarian (aka NyxQuest). Blob is mainly a puzzle game with some platforming elements, and is well worth the $20 I paid for it. Icarian is effing awesome! And is a steal at $10.
Icarian is definitely worth $10. Blob is okay... it holds your hand just a little too much, but for $15 it's worth it.
I have so many games I want around that price range, Mega Man I pulled the trigger cause it's Mega Man. To be honest, don't tell GG, I rather get Lost Winds 2 before those two games above. I might start getting some of these downloadable games in the summer and as for Blob, maybe later i dont know.
US police to get Robocop car.
http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/19032010/36/police-robocop-s-car-0.html
I don't keep games that I wont replay, Another Code R was pretty good, but far too slow and a little finnicky to replay. Spirit tracks I just don't like the train riding and I prefer Phantom Hourglass anyway, which I actually will replay.
I have both Icarian and Lost Winds 2. And the latter beats the former by some margin.
I was dicking around on some games today. Before I got the wii GPU fixed, any game or level with smoke or particle affects was difficult and ugly to see. I tested out a few things, firstly the level in Dead Space Extraction that starts in the medical room. Textures seem uglier than I remember, I think Silent Hill's face animation might have tarnished my view. Nice to see the normal maps on the characters faces again though.
I couldn't play for more than 10 minutes because of the structure of the game, its a lightgun game with no replayability because of the way its made as an interactive movie.
Then I plugged in Overkill to do the previously barely viewable swamp level. This fricking game. I only put it in for 5 minutes, looked at the clock and I was rocking it nearly an hour in . Dvader, you should borrow it from your friend and play single player, don't buy the machine guns either. I was blowing fools heads off all over the shop and watching blood splatter on the walls.
Then Zack and Wiki, no smoke here but probably the game worst affected by the GPU dots. I couldn't do the puzzle with the sleeping mushroom in the food pot. WTH? How can I have forgotten already.
Plugged in De Blob, I love this game, its so easy and sandboxy to play I just do the free mode and experiment with the music. Different colours give different music, I like the jazz trumpet.
Put in Red Steel because the sequel is out next week. Booted up one level, found it virtually unplayable due to the controls and the dead eye AI. Booted up another level and once in the groove, quite enjoyed it. The controls are horrible by todays standards but there is still fun here. Turning a corner and popping off a shotgun blast which blows up a van and sends 4 dudes flying into the air is always fun. And the sword fights were still fun and engaging. And the dialogue is still hilarious "You should of stuck to hotel coffee shops Gajin!"
Then, finally, found the orange sea slug in Endless Ocean 2, thanks Mekere

good score for Red Steel 2. I think it will be about the median in the range of scores it will accumulate in the long run.
