The Design Of No More Heroes 2

No Foolz I wouldn't necessarily care if someone would have bought that product from me or not. Surely the fact that I would have lost some money from potential sales would bother me but the real issue is simply the fact that someone feels the need to steal from me is what bothers me. Seriously who the hell do they think they are to feel that they deserve to get something for free when legitamite consumers are paying money. It makes absolutely no sense why anyone would think that that kind of behavior is ok.
i'm just much more positively disposed towards companies who make light weather of the issue like for example 2D Boy or even Valve.

The key point is not that it is easily copyable, but that the copy is unrelated to any physical and thus limited number or products.
If the ethical notion of stealing was important in law, then it would logically be applied to other crimes and a whole bunch of things carried out by law would be outlawed such kidnapping, imprisonement, murder etc or even forcefully taking a percentage of someone's wages for the rest of their life.
no, they should do whatever they think is best to get the most people to enjoy their product by legitimate means. sometimes, unorthodox though it may seem, giving it away seemingly for free may work much better for them in the long run than prosecuting millions of people.
the law is very black and white, i'm not arguing about that. let's just be practical. do you think lawsuits will solve this?

How exactly would you play it on 360?
I think this guy who uploaded NSMB deserves a fine and a criminal record but the sum being asked of him seems excessive. Why not fine each person who downloaded the game, the price of the game plus an admin charge instead?
Guess I was mistaken:
In case you hadn't noticed reviews for 2K's much anticipated sequel, BioShock 2 have gone live - and it's a positive set of verdicts overall.
CVG leads the charge with our 91% review, which calls 2K's sequel "a brilliant, if not-particularly-brave shooter story", "as a complement to the exciting and iconic original, it's a predictable but technically excellent second chapter to an unmissable FPS pairing."
PC Gamer adds in its own 90% review: "The mechanics that made the original BioShock such fun return, better than before. It's still better written than pretty much anything else out there. It doesn't all go to shit at the end. The multiplayer is fine. It is a great game."
PSM3 is a bit more pleased with 2K Marin and co's work, awarding a higher 93% verdict. "Unless the familiarity really gets to you, you're going to love BioShock 2," it said. "It's a lovingly crafted, carefully constructed masterpiece of narrative richness and smart game mechanics."
Official Xbox Magazine gave the sequel 9 out of 10 in its BioShock 2 review, calling the follow-up "indisputably an excellent shooter: intelligent, satisfying, and a tiny bit thought-provoking".
Finally, Xbox World 360 gave the game 90% in its review, which calls BioShock 2, "a game that tackles the imposing task of following a classic like Bioshock head-on, and in the process creates something equally as entertaining, but in subtly different ways."
Nobody thinks it's shit then. BioShock 2's Metacritic rating current stands at 88 on Xbox 360, 89 on PS3 and 91 on PC, which is less than No More Heroes Desperate Struggle.
Natal, duh!
But you'd have to pay for Natal. Why not just buy the Wii game when it hits a lower price?
Nice to see Bioshock 2 getting good reviews. I'll definitely be BUYING, , this game in the near future.
I was joking calm down.
" to take (the property of another or others) without permission or right, esp. secretly or by force: A pickpocket stole his watch."
See, now to me the right stuff is a load of crap, but that's beside the point. Intellectual property is not actual property as far as I'm concerned, simple as that.
If you don't want anyone to be exposed to your ideas and thus keep your thoughts protected, then don't exprses them.
No, it's copyright infringement. No more can you say that it's stealing than you can say that robbery is arson; it's always illegal to steal someone's property -- it's not always illegal to distribute their work. Copyright ends, it just so happens that takes a really damn long time now in the US and Canada, and different time periods elsewhere. If it had been 6 days it would have been legal, 6 million years and it would never be. What makes one right and one wrong? The legality isn't exactly clear-cut, either. For example, sharing music in Canada for personal use is legal. And as long as we're touting the law, American law prevents you from ripping a CD at all, though it hasn't been tested in court.
Meanwhile, the problem isn't prosecution so much as excess. You've handed a man a life-sentence, and for what? It's literally impossible to substantiate damages, and just as impossible to even substantiate how many copies, if any, were downloaded. It's like saying "theft is a crime, therefore give 'em 10 years for stealing a burrito."

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileAnd it's still copyright infringement (and in this case trademark infringement) and not theft.
