Remington does what Nintendon't.
So much lameness in those pics. There is some downright trashy games on Wii.
There was this deer hunting game I saw.
Did you watch the video review I posted above? This game awesome!
Woah. Dead Space Extraction on XBLA/PSN for $15? I'd buy that.
Great to see Dragon Age do so well, excellent game. I also tried a little bit of the Sonic and Sega All-stars racing game demo and it seemed to be quite good. It looks to be a great way to get your "Mario Kart" fix on the HD systems. Surprisingly this may actually be a purchase for me. I love me my Mario Kart and have been itching for a similar experience on the 360.
Yes, nothing's a more serious crime than stealing something that doesn't actually exist!
The capitalist comment made me lol, as redistributing wealth sounds quite socialist to me!
nintendo will get nothing. you can't draw blood from a stone. what they achieve is look like the money hungry bastards that they are and make people like me hate them ... like lars ulrich and metallica or eminem when they were throwing hissy fits against napster
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Yes, and I was implying in an exagerrated way that it's not a serious problem.
By it doesn't exist I mean intellectual property and copyright infringement are not tangible things. If you steal a handbag or a car (to use the DVD's analogy) that means that nobody else can have that car or handbag because it is a physical thing, where as if you pirate a game at the very worst all you can say is that the potential buying of a game did not take place, which requires a fair bit of speculation in most cases if you ask me!
Nintendo isn't stupid. They know they won't get any money from this guy. They did it to make an example out of him.
But wouldn't a large percentage of the 1.5million dollars they're forcefully taking from him be spent on necessities of life?
So if someone copied a released product of yours without buying it and you had no way of knowing if they'd actualyl buy it or not, you'd be pissed off on the off chance that they might have bought it?
Which probably won't deter anyone from piracy and just fuck one guy over. (But this is the sort of speculation that I shouldn't be doing!)
Well, sure but Nintendo screwed themselves when it comes to piracy by releasing a digital product in this day and age.
Of course, but once again the difference is there is no tangible effect here, where as if you stole something else in another way there would be an effect other than the vague potential of a company losing money.
