So I heard today that there were 1,100 games released in the U.S in 2009 and that that represented a 50% increase? That's a lot of games, in fact more than had been released in the US up to that point. "Analysts" say that that will decline, and is likely a high point for game releases.

It's because of all the Wii shovelware and fitness games.

 and the Ubisoft DS games.  Ugh 1,100 games.  People always ask me how I have so many games, and I ask them, 'Do you know how many games there are?'  There is no such thing as a completist in this hobby.

Then my advice is hold off buying an HD set for as long as humanly possible. If you must have HD for your PS3/360 use a PC monitor and a VGA cable.

About the PS3 version, the loading does suck. Graphically yeah it has its hiccups here and there but I have yet to experience anything that hurts the gameplay. But the loading, my lord, seriously you can't load up a simple I got a new item pop up. Every time you go into your menu it loads, the menu itself is slow to navigate around. Stages take like 30 seconds to load up. So yeah it did annoy me, I will live but I found myself not entering my inventory screen just so I dont load.

That sucks, I heard Sony was working with sega to fix all this.

Such a shame I dont enjoy games like this as its getting high critical acclaim.
