I'd like to block and counter but I wouldn't want anything more complex then say Streetfighter 2 combat for a CV game. I want it to be crisp and clean combat, not combo remembering time.
Since it was wedged in between the two of them I can understand why you'd ignore it.
Looking at some old pics, Cursed Mountain looks allright.
In the videos it shows the way the camera can sort of tilt and warp to give you a dizzy feeling, trying to keep you off balance which is in keeping with the high altitude theme.
This game does to my wang what a mushroom does to Mario.
Turnips in my town are 155 bells. I have to leave in a few minutes, but my gates are open, and I'll leave them open while I'm gone.
I recieved the GC Chest and the other stuff you sent me, GG. Thanks again!
*crickets chirp*
I'll check it out for sure this evening.
I'd download it, but it's probably blocked for Silver users until next week.
why are they still putting colin McCrae's name in games? the poor guy died like three years ago, how could he be endorsing them? wasn't there at least a clause to break his contract in the instance of death? kind of macabre
on another note, does anyone know when the voucher cards for PSN will be available? looks like those will be my gateway to psn gaming goodness!!

I thought it was a user created level in Bloom Box
Awesome art-style though
You really need to get those eyes checked.
Edit: Or I need to play Boom Blox. The first option is the correct one, though.
No U.
Yeah, but did not Prince of Persia 2 had platforming while fighting?
Not that easy. Your combat control can interfere with your platforming controls. That's why most of them do them seperately. Imagine if you have an attack that locks on your enemy and you dive bomb him or something. Now imagine you are jumping and a medusa head appears, you do the dive bomb only for the trajectory of your jump to change and you die. If you want platforming with action at the same time, you need to design it with both in mind. It's more difficult, but if Kojima is as good as you hope he is, he should manage.
I think most game got rid of platforming element, because it is not popular anymore. And it's easier to focus on action. It looks better and it's easier to market.
Counter and dodges are fine, but how do you block with a whip? Impossible. You can do it with a sword though!
Just raise your hands up , doesnt need to be realistic. I assume there will be more weapons than just a whip.
So i just bought Castlevania 3 on VC (with Actraiser). Its freaking cool how many paths there are and the multiple characters thing. Its like Castlevania 1 mixed with SOTN. But DAMN PLATFORMING is killing me all over the place. Yeah you are right Iga its platforming all over the place and I am finding it a bit annoying. Castlevania was never good with jumping, its very stiff and doesnt feel right. Combine that with some annoying game design choices like the stairs that you must get on at either end or you go right through it. Oh my favorite, the level that scrolls up and everything below it becomes an instant pit of death, even if there was a platform there a second ago if you scroll to high it becomes a pit of death ( a lot of NES games did this). Just cause it has platforming doesnt mean its good platforming.
The game is still great though, but I perfer the 16-bit CVs and the SOTN ones to this.
