Leo shows that Red Faction has a higher metacritic score than Infamous, but does that tell the full story. Here are the facts, the metacritic PS3 score of Red Faction only has 42 reviews, fewer than the 64 reviews of the 360 version. Since they are the same game its more accurate to use the 360 versions score because its a closer amount of reviews to Infamous' 83 reviews. The more reviews there are the harder it is to keep a high score, as shown by the decrease in score for the 360 version of Red Faction.
Furthermore, when comparing the major sites to one another, eliminating the loads of crap sites that take up so much space in the score, these are the comparisons you get. IGN gives Infamous a 9.2, Red Faction an 8.0. Giant Bomb gave Infamous a 5 out of 5, it gave RF a 4 out of 5. Gamespot gave Infamous a 9.0 and gave RF an 8.5. Play magazine gave Infamous a 10, they gave RF a 9. Gametrailers gave Infamous a 9.0, they gave RF a 7.9.
1up, GameInformer, and Eurogamer all gave them the same score. Gamepro gave Red Faction a 5 out of 5, they gave Infamous a 4.5 out of 5. Are you going to trust Gamepro... I rest my case.
(I did this just to mess with Leo. )
Yes, we all know the big name sell-outs gave the better reviews to the bigger game
Wait, wait wait. Giant Bomb? Who reviewed Red Faction, I wonder... yet your calling into question GamePro with that elephant in the room?
---
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileYou have no idea. They mention a sword that is used to kill Orochi, it's called Tsukuyomi. Well Tsukuyomi is actually the moon goddess, and sister to the sun goddess Amateratsu. And Orochi was defeated not by a white wolf, but by Susanoo the storm and sea deity and brother of Amateratsu. He got the eight headed demon drunk and then chopped of all its heads with the sword called Totsuka.
See no wolf, no warrior. Totally different!

Iga, great impressions, you've gone and bought a shedload of great titles. With Elebits, make sure you adjust the turning controls to fast and be aware that the later, outdoor levels fall apart due to the bad framerate.
Oh! So you agree with me then! Good. I didn't want this to get ugly...

So? WHAT? YOU ONLY TRUST THE SCORES OF THE BIG NAME SITES?! You only cater to THE MAN?!
TYPICAL! JUST TYPICAL!
It seems your love of churned out CRAP like Resident Evil and inFamous has clouded your judgment and dulled your gamer sensibility where you need a big name site to make decisions for you!

After several weeks of near-inactivity, Japan's release schedule bounces back with a solid multiplatform lineup. Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus-bundled Wii Sports Resort leads as Amazon.co.jp's most-preordered title for this week. Given the continuing sales chart popularity of the original Wii Sports game, Resort can be expected to remain a top regional seller for weeks to come.
The Xbox 360 will soon host Arc System Works' 2D fighter BlazBlue, G-Rev's shoot-em-up Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta, and Prototype's text-based adventure title Time Leap. Agarest Senki Zero and Gust's Atelier series sequel Rorona no Atelier: Arland no Renkinjutsushi highlight this week's offerings on the PlayStation 3
Two of my Father's Day presents (congrats, Travo! give me a hug! a nude one!) were games. Yay! I got Prince of Persia and PGR4. Tinkered around with both of them between Pinata sessions. Prince of Persia is actually rather good! I don't know why everyone was bitching about that girl saving your ass at all times. OMG TEH CASUALS! Fuck. PGR4 is...exactly the same thing as PGR3...and 2...and 1. Save a couple minor, aesthetic differences. Is it too hard to make a compelling, interesting arcade racer? If the choice is between this stuff and MK or Excitecocks, I'd rather stop playing arcade racers altogether. I have some faith in Split/Second, and NFS Shift.
Rented PunchOut!! Nostalgia overdose. And a good dosage of groin kicking. WTF? I don't remember some of these guys being this hard. Great Tiger beat me like 20 times before I caught up, and I'm still stuck with Super Macho Man. I don't even reach title defense mode and my W/L ratio is already laughable. This game has to be played with traditional controls, though. Motion control is tiring, clumsy and shitty all around.
I watched 300 (finally, lol; nice to see Sarah Connor in teh n00d, BTW), and Guy Ritchie's Rocknrolla. Good stuff, still falls short from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, though.
Sarah Conner was nekkid in the movie? I didn't notice, maybe because I saw the movie before I saw the TV series.
I've sadly been watching the new Knight Rider TV series. It's bunk.
I loved using motion controls during the first playthrough, but I found it to be to slow and unresponsive during TD. I still have to beat Super Macho Man and Sandman in Title Defense.
I started playing Ghostbusters this weekend. Good game, not great. I love fighting ghosts and the different types of beams that you acquire. Ghost fights are varied, especially the bosses. The PKE is very similar to the Gameboy that was used for scanning in Luigi's Mansion.
The humor from the movies is here and just as good. I can't believe Atari got Harold Ramis and Dan Akyroyd to write this. These guys must have had a blast recording their voices. So much fun hearing them interact again, especially Bill Murray as Venkman.
Now I would consider this a rental for a few reasons, some already addressed by Vader. You cannot really interact at your HQ. Big negative for me. Remember how awesome it was in the Warriors game, where you could interact with other members, workout, play some games? Ghostbusters has nothing like that. They have arcade games in the headquarters, but you can't play them. WTF? Very bare bones.
Another problem is that you can't save at the firehouse. If you turn off the game, then you automatically start the next mission when you start again. I want to hang out at the firehouse, get to know the guys more, shoot the breeze with Peter, flirt with Jeanine.
Right now I would give it an 7.5-8 for the ghost fights and the humor. Maybe more once I check out online play and the extras.
Maybe OJ will get a lucky break and star in a serial killer game. He could probably use the money.
