I have the game on reserve, and even got a call from Dan Akroyd Sunday night reminding me to get it. But the more I read about it the less interested I am, so I think I'll just move the money to something else instead.
Just doing the updates again
Ubisoft: Development Costs To Double Next Gen
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot expects the cost of developing a top tier title for the next generation of hardware to double the current spend on AAA game creation.
Creating a major title for PS3 or Xbox 360 typically costs between $20 million and $30 million. Guillemot told CNBC that he expects the cost to rise to $60 million with the coming of new hardware.
"The next generation is going to be so powerful that playing a game is going to be the equivalent of playing a CGI movie today," the executive said.
He noted that he’d like to see the current hardware cycle extended for as long as possible, but that the platform makers, “pushed by the environment," will most probably take the next step sooner rather than later.
"For us, the current machines are very powerful and we can do high quality work. I'd like to stay with this generation as long as possible, but my customers will want the best machine possible."
Nay, I'll be taking a pass on Ghostbusters even though I really enjoyed the movies at the time when they first came out. There's plenty of other stuff I'm more interested in buying. I'll more then likely rent it sometime though.
I'm not interested in golf. At the moment the games I'm most likely to buy are Fallout 3 and Boom Blox bash party. I'm waiting on some games to sell first for the cash.
Other than those two I'm waiting for price drop deals on anno and Indiana Jones.
Anyone getting hit with this frakking thing non stop recentely?
GG's getting upset!

Microsoft’s press conference at E3 gave us our first glimpse at “Halo: Reach,” but it wasn’t exactly robust. The teaser ominously stated, “From the beginning, you knew the end,” and featured a lot of combat chatter, but if you’re not in the know with the expanded Halo universe you were probably left scratching your head. We’re here to help.
“Halo: Reach” revolves around the events detailed in the 2001 novel, “Halo: The Fall of Reach.” It’s a prequel to the main “Halo” storyline (again, alluded to in the trailer). The book’s protagonist was a younger Master Chief, who, along with a squad of SPARTAN soldiers, tried to defend the planet from the first Covenant invasion. Unfortunately, as the novel’s title hints, things didn’t go so well. If you’d like to know more about the game’s probably story, definitely check out the book (as well as the subsequent sequel, “Halo: First Strike.”
As for the game, your guess is as good as mine. The developers are decidedly mum, saying only what Brian Jarrard gives us in the video below. We do know that there will be a multiplayer beta, and that people who buy “Halo 3: ODST” will get a download code to access that beta. There’s also a release date planned in late 2010.

I have to admit I'm curious about that as well. The Wii version is getting better reviews hands down everywhere. There's no exception on this game. Is it just a preference for traditional controls or a graphics preference?
Totally respect that.
The Wii version has DLC too, it has more golf courses and it has disk golf. The online options are pretty much the same except for the voice chat!
