Ghostbusters pissed me off. The game does not have a checkpoint for when you are at base. I finished the second level, afterwards it takes you to the HQ where you can walk around and there it advances the story. I figured that is a perfect place to stop the game. I go back to start it up and it automatically starts me at the beginning of the third level, apperantly there is no checkpoint for the HQ. I missed all the story, I had no idea what was going on. I had to go on youtube to watch all the cutscenes that happened and it was major stuff. So never quit your game when in HQ it wont save it there.

Oh and the load times, when you die and restart, are so long there is a movie clip that plays with the official theme song to entertain you. Also while I was playing just now, the frame rate dropped so badly it went to zero for about 3 seconds.

Not the best made game out there.

But I am in the library now fighting that librarian ghost from the first movie. I went into that exact room from the movie and the cards started to fly out of the drawers, so cool.

That's wierd because the Blockbuster where I live has all those Wii games Dvader mentioned available for rent. A few of those I'd like to rent whenever I have the time that is.

I guess right now I'd consider Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 as top contenders for 2009 GotY.

So Super Mario Galaxy would be a 7 on 360 am right?

I still need to play SFIV, I have to nab it off my bro. Who keeps getting his ass kicked

If it didn't have any improvements graphically and if there was something that did what it did better then yeah it would get a lower score. I'd say with all things as is though a 7 would be too low. If Mario Galaxy were on the 360 just how it is now then I'd probably give it at least an 8.5.

You should play SFIV, it's awesome.

I just got finished with a level in Ghostbusters that took me to this ghost dimension, really impressed me. It had great level design as well as uses for my new toy, the slime gun. There is plenty of enemy variety. Fought some really well done boss fights. This level impressed me a lot. There are still a bunch of technical errors but its starting to be a well designed game gameplay wise.

BTW there are "hobo ghosts" in this game, thats the official name.
