Prototype could very well be a better game than inFamous!
It is visceral; it is beautiful in a dark, colorful kind of way; it does justice to NYC... Above all else it is a --B-L-A-S-T-- to play!
So much blood. So much destruction. So much violence. Sooo. Much. Fun!
More impressions to come! The Good the Bad and the Weird
In a few more days this bastard movie will FINALLY be out on dvd over here. I would have imported ages ago if the pound hadn't sunk like a stone.
You are a meek, meager, small man in reality and must take your frustrations out on innocent people on a gaming forum.
I hope your testes (IF you have any) shrivel and fall off, so the likes of you vanish from the Earth and the rest of us can live, celebrating the day your little-dickedness was banished from this place.

Oh. Damn. I meant to post this in the GGD. Oops! My bad!
If you want I'll give you my Gamespot login and password and you can post this over there. I've been looking for a nice way to make a good dramatic and memorable account suicide over there. This could be it.
I would never account suicide over someone like that little dick, nor would I bring myself down to his level; I just absolutely LOATHE people who MUST ruin other people's fun!
Oh well, back to the idea of making a Harvest Moon thread and posting pictures of someone's ass then.
Oh yeah like there's people on earth who haven't seen that already. I'm trying to go for shock, but thanks all the same.
I have pics of that ready.
Basically any router listed as a switch is a NAT router (as opposed to a hub). A NAT router drops all unsolicited traffic, meaning for example if your computer is targeted by Conficker which exploits port 445, all its traffic will be dropped by default as you weren't requesting it.
Your router address will be one of the following:
192.168.0.1
192.168.1.1
192.168.1.2
You can find it by running the DOS command prompt (Start->Run: Enter "cmd") and enter ipconfig /a

Apple is horrendous for patching software and just general interest in secure software. A positive side-effect of not using their products for security reasons is that you won't be using their bloated crap. Note that I've barely touched OSX, so I can't say too much about quality there as opposed to the atrocious Windows versions, but I do keep tabs on security news. You know well I'm not very easy on Microsoft - they release patches every other Tuesday. Apple seems to patch known security holes every 6 months. Honestly it probably still wouldn't have any consequences, but I'd still consider it best practice.
By default in Windows XP, file extensions are hidden. By naming a file aaaa.mp3.exe it will display the icon for an mp3 file, but will run as an executable. It's a common tactic for trojans. The simple fix is to turn on file extensions (Tools->Folder Options->Hide File Extensions for Known File Types - uncheck this), which is possibly the very first thing I do with a fresh install. Using the name coldplay was just an example.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileImpressions to follow once I get a good amount of time in with either...
I will say this though, Grand Slam does take A LOT of getting used to! It would help immensely if they could at the very least show you HOW you should be holding the Wii-mote!
When it works it is sublime, but right now there are just as many WTF?! that's not what I meant to do moments, as well.
As I get used to it and see if the problem is ME... I'll post more!
Thanks for the info, Yoda.
I created another account on my computer, gave it full admin powers, and reduced my main account down to standard user. I tried to install a program, and Vista blocked me, lol.
I've gone back to Opera too. I'll miss some of the cool new features in IE8, but if it's really that much of a security risk, then I can live without it.
I knew Apple's software was bloated, but I did not know they are so lax in fixing security issues. That's not cool. The only Apple software I had installed was Quicktime. I can't remember the last time I ran a quicktime file, so I uninstalled it.
That's a great tip on the file extentions. I never thought about that.
I've been using Sandboxie ever since you recommended it in your blog a while back. It's a great program. I managed to convince my dad to install it on his computer too. Too bad it doesn't work with Windows Vista 64-bit. My friend just bought a new computer, and the Sandboxie website said it won't work on his.
I'm going to keep McAfee installed. I get if for free from Comcast, and I don't even notice it's there most of the time. I'm just not willing to give up my security blanket just yet.
That would be awesome, though they may trace his ip address and ban Leo as well.
Because you get to walk into the ceiling, jump down on somebody, and then eat them.
